Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 29th day of October 1968
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart
the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto
as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a burial ground and place of historical interest for the common use and benefit of the members of the Ngati Tuwharetoa tribe.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
All those pieces of land situated in Block V, Puketi Survey District, and described as follows:
A. R. P. Being
0 1 30 Part Oreti No. 2.
0 0 32 Part Oreti No. 2.
As the same are more particularly outlined, for identification purposes only, in red, on a plan annexed to an Order of the Maori Land Court, dated 15 May 1968, and made pursuant to the provisions of section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953.

Revocation of Order in Council Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on 9 November 1964, and published in Gazette, 26 November 1964, No. 75, p. 2221, and affecting the land set out in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to section 149 of the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby consents to the Tauranga County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.

Amending a Licence Authorising the Auckland Regional Authority, Passenger Transport Division, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the City of Auckland and the Boroughs of Newmarket, One Tree Hill, Mount Roskill, and Onehunga (Meadowbank and Onehunga Services)

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and with the consent of the licensee, hereby amends, as set forth in the Schedule thereto, the Order in Council dated the 1st day of July 1959 and published in the Gazette on the 2nd day of the same month at p. 862, authorising the Auckland Transport Board to erect and use certain electric lines in the City of Auckland and the Boroughs of Newmarket, One Tree Hill, Mount Roskill, and Onehunga.
SCHEDULE
Paragraph 2 (b) in the Schedule thereto is deleted and the following clause is substituted therefor:
2 (b) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the junction of Symonds Street with Khyber Pass and proceeding easterly along Khyber Pass to its junction with Broadway; thence southerly along Broadway to its junction with Remuera Road.
Paragraph 1 (f) is deleted from the Schedule thereto:
1 (f) Lines for two-way traffic commencing at the junction of Broadway with Khyber Pass and proceeding southerly along Broadway to its junction with Remuera Road; and thence generally easterly along Remuera Road and St. John's Road to a turning circle, adjacent to the junction of St. John's Road with Ipswich Place.
The aforesaid portions of the lines being more particularly delineated by means of a red line on section A of the plan marked NZED 516 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

Amending Licence to Take Material from Porirua Harbour

THE RIGHT HON. J. R. MARSHALL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the licence granted on 2 September 1968 to Hydraulic Sand Dredging Ltd., by deleting references to that company wherever they occur and substituting therefor Paremata Dredging Co. Ltd.

Directing the Revision of District Valuation Rolls

Pursuant to the Valuation of Land Act 1951, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby directs that the District Valuation Rolls for the districts enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be revised by the Valuer-General as at 1 November 1968.
SCHEDULE
Independent Town Districts—Ohura. Boroughs—Greytown, Milton, Onehunga. Cities—Gisborne, Palmerston North. Counties—Bay of Islands, Matamata, Opotiki, Kairanga, Cheviot.
