Declaring Land in the Wellington Land District, Vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a Site for a School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Wanganui Education Board as a site for a school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof.

SCHEDULE

Wellington Land District—Rangitikei County
Section 31, Block XVI, Maungakaretu Survey District: area, 2 acres more or less. Certificate of title, Volume 213, folio 116 (S.O. Plan 16005).

Land Set Apart as Provisional State Forest Declared to be Subject to the Land Act 1948

A PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to subsection (2) of section 19 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, acting on the joint recommendation of the Minister of Lands and of the Minister of Forests, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being provisional State forest reserve set apart by Proclamation dated the 10th day of March 1959, and published in Gazette, 19 March 1959, Volume I, p. 343, is required for the settlement purposes; and in accordance with the provisions of the said Act such land shall, from and after the day of gazetting hereof, cease to be provisional State forest land and shall become Crown land, available for sale, lease, reservation, or other disposition under the provisions of the Land Act 1948.

SCHEDULE

Nelson Land District—Inangahua County
ALL those areas of provisional State forest situated in Block XIV, Reefton Survey District, as defined on S.O. Plan 10694, and thereon bordered red. Area, 8 acres 2 roods 14.8 perches, more or less. Part being held under residence site licences No. 975, 1061, 5056, 5668, 6032, and 9702, comprised in Register Volume 1D, folios 266, 267, 269, 270, 271, and 275.

Pursuant to section 18 of the Forests Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedules hereto as permanent State forest land.

FIRST SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District—Canterbury Conservancy—Waipara County
Rural Section 39477, situated in Block II, Teviotdale Survey District; Area, 107 acres 1 rood more or less (S.O. Plan 10824).

As shown on Plan No. S. 68/4 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington and thereon bordered red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

Canterbury Land District—Canterbury Conservancy—Waipara County
Rural Sections 39481 and 39482, situated in Block VI, Teviotdale Survey District; Area, 1431 acres 1 rood 35 perches, more or less (S.O. Plans 10854, 10856).

As shown on Plan No. S. 68/5 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington and thereon bordered red.

Section 73, Block IV, Aparima Hundred: area, 72 acres 3 roods, more or less (S.O. Plan 7700).

As shown on plan No. S. 168/2 deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 25th day of October 1968.

Pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a meeting-house site for the common use and benefit of the Maori people generally.
