Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excel-
lency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and
declares that the access way described in the Schedule hereto
shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, vest in
the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of New
Plymouth, and be under the control and management of the
New Plymouth City Council.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land containing 9 perches situated in the
City of New Plymouth, being Lot 53, D.P. 9812, being part
Sections 57 and 59, Block IV, Paritutu Survey District, being
part Proclamation 2237.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council, hereby consent to the leasehold estate in the land
first described in the Schedule hereto held from the Otago
Presbyterian Church Board of Property by Elderlee Invest-
ments Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered
office at Dunedin, under and by virtue of memorandum
of lease No. 11203, recorded in certificate of title, Volume 308,
folio 88, Otago Land Registry, and to an easement over land
secondly described in the said Schedule hereto, created by the
said lease being taken for the purposes of parking places.

appoints
Hugh Alexander Fullarton, of Wellington, to be a member
and to be Chairman of the Local Government Commission
for a term expiring on the 30th day of June 1972;
John Charles Derbie Mackley, M.B.E., of Masterton; and
Frederick James Gwilliam, J.P., of Auckland;
to be members of the said Commission for a term expiring
on the 30th day of June 1971.

Boundaries of County of Ohinemuri and Borough of Waihi
Altered

Present:

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
Pursuant to the Local Government Commission Act 1967,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.

ORDER

  1. This order shall come into force on the 1st day of April

  2. The area described in the Schedule hereto shall be
    excluded from the district of the County of Ohinemuri and
    be included in the district of the Borough of Waihi.

  3. The alteration of the boundaries of the said County and
    the said Borough hereinbefore made shall be deemed to have
    been effected under the Municipal Corporations Act 1954.

SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Ohine-
muri County, containing 2 acres 1 rood 20.2 perches, more
or less, bounded by a line commencing at the north-easter-
most corner of Section 1024, Town of Waihi, situated in
Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District, being a point on the
south-eastern boundary of the Borough of Waihi as described
in N.Z. Gazette, 1954, page 1306, and proceeding generally
southerly and north-westerly along the generally eastern and
south-western boundaries of Section 1024 aforesaid, to the
intersection of the last-named boundary with the south-eastern
boundary of the Borough of Waihi aforesaid; thence north-
easterly along that last-named boundary to the point of
commencement.
