NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for the purpose of that public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barke's Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council, at Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

NAPIER CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

Notice is hereby given that the Napier City Council proposes under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to widen portion of Carlyle Street in the City of Napier, and, for the purpose of such public work, the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken for street.

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Hastings Street, Napier, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land should, if they have any objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice to the Town Clerk at his office, aforesaid; and if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

TAKAPUNA CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Purchase of Land Loan No. 2, 1968-$76,000

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Takapuna City Council resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on the Land Purchase Loan 1968, $76,000, authorised to be raised by the Takapuna City Council by way of special loan under the Local Authorities Loans Act, 1956 for the purpose of purchasing land in the vicinity of Lake Pupuke, the Takapuna City Council makes a special rate of decimal nought one two cents (.012c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the City of Takapuna); and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Takapuna City Council held on 17 September 1968.

COUNTY OF OPOTIKI

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Hikutaia Water Supply Loan 1968

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Opotiki County Council resolved, on the 23rd day of October 1968, as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $53,000 authorised to be raised by the Opotiki County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of providing a water-supply system within the Hikutaia water-supply area, the said Opotiki County Council hereby makes a special rate of three cents in the dollar (3c in the $) upon the rateable property of the Hikutaia water-supply special rating area, as the same is described in the special roll, prepared pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Regulations 1967 and approved by the said Council on the 13th day of September 1967; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be repayable half-yearly on the 1st day of April and the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

BALCLUTHA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Renewal Loan 1968, $22,600

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Balclutha Borough Council hereby resolved as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $22,600 authorised to be raised by the Balclutha Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the difference between the original amounts set aside on annual redemption and the original amounts of 54 percent portion of the Sewerage Loan 1962 due for repayment in the current financial year, the said Balclutha Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.101c in the dollar upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the Borough of Balclutha; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable annually on the 1st day of November in each year and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off."
