BAY OF ISLANDS COUNTY COUNCIL
Notice of Intention to Take Land
IN the matter of the Counties Act 1956 and the Public Works
Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Bay of Islands
County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-
mentioned Act, to execute a certain public work, namely, the
provision and establishment of a public recreation and pleasure
ground; and, for the purpose of such public work, the lands
described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands
so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Bay
of Islands County Council, situate on Main Road, Kawakawa,
and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during
ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the said lands must state their objections,
in writing, and send the same, within 40 days from the first
publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Bay of Islands
County Council, Main Road, Kawakawa. If any objection is
lodged a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless
the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be
advised of the time and place of hearing.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provi-
sions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain
public work, namely, the construction of a road; and, for
the purpose of that public work, the land described in the
Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby
further given that the plan of the land so required to be
taken is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County
Council, Barke's Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is
there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the
execution of the said public work or the taking of the said
land should, if they have any objections to the execution of
the said public work or the taking of the said land, not being
objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set
forth the same, in writing, and send the written objection,
within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the
Tauranga County Council, at Tauranga; and that, if any
objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public
hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector
otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing
will be held.
