Amending Notice in Part Setting Apart Crown Land for the
Development of Water Power (Roxburgh Power Scheme) in
Block I, Teviot Survey District

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Minister of Works
hereby amends the notice dated 26 July 1968 and published in
Gazette, 5 September 1968, No. 56, p. 1524, setting apart Crown
land for the development of water power (Roxburgh power
scheme) in Block I, Teviot Survey District, by omitting there-
from in the Schedule as to the Crown land first described the
letters and figures "(S.O. 13520)" and substituting therefore
"(S.O. 13250)".

Notice of Intention to Take Land for a Secondary School in
the City of Wellington (Wellington Polytechnic)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provi-
sions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public
work, namely, the construction of a secondary school; and,
for the purposes of that public work, the land described in
the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is
hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution
of the said public work or by the taking of the said land
should, if they have any objections to the execution of the
said public work or to the taking of the said land, not being
objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set
forth the same in writing, and send the written objection,
within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the
Minister of Works at Wellington; and that if any objection
is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of
the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise re-
quires, and each objector will be advised of the time and
place of the hearing.

The Traffic (Hawke's Bay County and Hastings City)
Notice 1968

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Trans-
port hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke's Bay
   County and Hastings City) Notice 1968.
2. The roads specified in the first Schedule hereto are hereby
   declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes
   of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule hereto are
   hereby excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by
   section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
4. The road specified in the Third Schedule hereto is hereby
   declared to be a limited-speed zone for the purposes of regu-
   lation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
5. The road specified in the Fourth Schedule hereto is
   hereby declared to be a 40-miles-an-hour speed limit area
   for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations
   1956*.
6. The warrant under section 36 of the Transport Act 1949,
   dated the 13th day of January 1953†, which relates to the
   former Farndon-Pakipaki Main Highway, and the warrant
   under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27
   of the Traffic Regulations 1956*, dated the 12th day of August
   1964†, which relates to Hastings City, are hereby revoked.
