Station 27 and the westernmost corner of Wharawhara Block to a point where it intersects the south-eastern boundary of part Section 5, Block IV, Mangatoro Survey District; thence north-easterly generally along that boundary and its production to and down the middle of the Mangawhero Stream to and up the middle of the Mangatepai Stream to and up a stream being part of the eastern boundary of Block 56, Porangahau Crown Grant District, and along the said boundary to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 7025, along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of that lot to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 4, Deeds Plan 636, to and along the north-eastern side of Ngawaka Road to and along the south-eastern side of a road coloured green on S.O. BOUNDARIES OF WAIPAWA COUNTY
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District bounded by a line commencing on the summit of the Ruahine Range at its intersection with a right line between Trig. Station 30, Aorangi, in Block XI, Pukeokehu Survey District (Wellington Land District) and the confluence of the Makaroro River and the Makaroro Stream, adjacent to Section 8, Block IX, Wakarara Survey District, and proceeding south-easterly along that right line to the said confluence and along another right line to the northernmost point of Section 1, Block XI, Wakarara Survey District, along the north-eastern boundary of that section to and down the middle of the Mangamauku Stream to a point in line with the western boundary of Block 1, Gwavas Crown Grant District; thence northerly generally to and along that boundary and the western boundaries of Block 5 and again Blocks 1 and 3, all Gwavas Crown Grant District, and along the northern boundary of that Block 3 and its production to and down the middle of the Mangao-nuku Stream to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 1, Block X, Maraekakaho Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line to the northernmost point of Section 1, Block XIV, Maraekakaho Survey District, and along the north-eastern boundary of that section, along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundaries of Section 1, Block XV, Maraekakaho Survey District, Lot 29, D.P. 4416, and Lot 5, D.P. 5103, and the
production of the last-mentioned boundary to the middle of the No. 2 National State Highway; thence southerly generally along the middle of that highway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Block 14, Patangata Crown Grant District, to and along that boundary to the north-eastern corner of Block 14 and along a right line to the north-western side of Racecourse Road at a point in line with the middle of Homewood Road, to and along the middle of that road to the middle of the old bed of the Waipawa River; thence south-westerly along that middle line and its production to and up the middle of the Tukituki River to a point in line with the original eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 1667; thence southerly along that boundary to the northern boundary of Waipukurau Block (30N); thence westerly along that boundary to the eastern side of the Wellington-Napier Railway; thence northerly along that side to and up the right bank of the Tukituki River, to and up the right bank of the Tukipo River, to and up the right bank of the Makaretu River, to and up the middle of the Maharaeke Stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Takapau Survey District, to and along the eastern and northern boundaries of that section to its northernmost point; thence southerly generally along the western boundaries of that Section 5 and Lot 1, Deeds Plan 455, and along the south-western boundary of that Lot 1 to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 2162, to the north-eastern side of a public road; thence along a right line to and again along the north-western boundary of Lot 2 and its production to and down the middle of the Mangapurakau Stream to and down the middle of the Waikopiro Stream to and up the middle of the Manawatu River to and north-easterly along the middle of an old road, as shown on S.O. Plan 4457 (part old road closed and numbered 14R–19R), to the middle of the No. 2 National State Highway, along the middle of that highway to its intersection with the middle of the Old Norsewood-Takapau Road; thence due north along a right line to and up the middle of the Makaretu River to its source and due west along a right line to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence northerly generally along that summit to the point of commencement; excluding therefrom the Borough of Waipawa, as described in Gazette, 1930, p. 2684.
BOUNDARIES OF TAKAPAU RIDING OF COUNTY OF WAIPAWA
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Waipawa County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle lines of the Tukituki River and Fairfield Road, in Block XII, Ruataniwha Survey District, and proceeding down the middle of that river to its confluence with the Tukipo River; thence due south by a right line to the right bank of the Tukituki River; thence up the right banks of the Tukituki, Tukipo, and Makaretu Rivers to and up the middle of the Maharaeke Stream to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Section 5, Block VII, Takapau Survey District, along the eastern and northern boundaries of that section to its northernmost point; thence southerly generally along the western boundaries of that Section 5 and Lot 1, Deeds Plan 455, and along the south-western boundary of that Lot 1 to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 2162, to the north-eastern side of a public road; thence along a right line to and again along the north-western boundary of Lot 2 and its production to and down the middle of the Mangapurakau Stream, to and down the middle of the Waikopiro Stream, to and up the middle of the Manawatu River, to and north-easterly along the middle of an old road, as shown on S.O. PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Gisborne, County of Cook, County of Waiapu, the Uawa, Tauwhareparae, Whataupoko, and Gisborne Ridings of the County of Cook, the Whangaparaoa, Tokomaru, and Hikuwai Ridings of the County of Waiapu, the boundaries having previously been altered by Orders in Council made on 12 March 1962 and published in Gazette, 29 March 1962, No. 20, p. 507; on 26 March 1962 and published in Gazette, 30 March 1962, No. 21, p. 543; on 22 August 1962 and published in Gazette, 23 August 1962, No. 53, p. 1378; on 19 February 1963 and published in Gazette, 28 February 1963, No. 14, p. 266; on 3 July 1963 and published in Gazette, 11 July 1963, No. 41,
