generally easterly, southerly, and north-easterly along the
middle of that last named road and Te Aute Trust Road
to and south-westerly along the middle of Middle Road to
the middle of the Papanui Stream, down the middle of that
stream to and down the middle of the Tukituki River to
and up the middle of the Hawea Stream to a point in line
with the northern boundary of Section 4, Block III, Oero
Survey District, easterly to and along that boundary (including
the crossing of Kahuranaki Road) and southerly along
the eastern boundary of that section and of Sections 5 and
6, both in Block III, Oero Survey District, to the northern
boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 3215; thence easterly along that
boundary and the northern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 3216
(including the crossing of the Waipoapoa and Te Apiti
Roads), to the sea coast; thence south-westerly generally
along the sea coast to the western boundary of Lot 3, D.P.
549, in Block X, Tautane Survey District; thence generally
northerly along that boundary to and up the middle of the

District, and Ngapaeruru 7E, Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 7642, and
Ngapaeruru 7C to its westernmost corner, along the western
boundaries of the said 7C, and Sections 4 and 3, Block XIII,
Porangahau Survey District, to the northernmost corner of
part Section 1, Block XVI, Mangatoro Survey District, south-
westerly along the north-western boundary of that section
for a distance of 1,700 links and along a right line due west
to the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 6640; thence northerly
along that eastern boundary to and easterly along the north-
ern boundaries of Sections 6 and 5, both Block XV, Manga-
toro Survey District, to the southernmost corner of Section
2, Block XII, Mangatoro Survey District; thence northerly

BOUNDARIES OF MANGATARATA RIDING OF COUNTY OF
PATANGATA

ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Patangata
County, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost
corner of Section 12, Block IX, Pourerere Survey District,
and proceeding north-westerly along the south-western
boundary of the said Section 12 to the southern side of a
public road intersecting that Section 12, along the south-
eastern, north-eastern, and north-western sides of that road
to the south-western boundary of Tarawera Crown Grant
District in Block XII, Motuotaraia Survey District, along
that boundary to and along the south-eastern and north-
eastern boundaries of Section 17, Block XI, Motuotaraia
Survey District, and the production of the last-named
boundary to and along the middle of Te Awa Road to a
point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Section 22,
Block XI, Motuotaraia Survey District, to and along that
boundary and the north-eastern boundary of that section,
along the north-eastern boundary of part Section 15, Block

and part Lot 9, Deeds Plan 515, to the north-western boundary
of part Lot 9, aforesaid; thence south-westerly along that
