XIII, as shown on D.P. 1689; thence north-easterly by a right line bearing 006°, distance 4,400 links, to the sea coast of Tasman Bay; thence generally north-easterly along the sea coast to the westernmost corner of Section 85, District of Suburban South, along the seaward boundaries of the aforesaid Section 85 and Section 99, District of Suburban South, and the seaward side of No. 6 State Highway (Rocks Road) to its intersection with the production of a line bearing 123° 42', distance 1,413.21 links, as shown on S.O. Plan 8460; thence north-westerly by a right line to the low-water mark at Wave Point on Haulashore Island; thence generally north-westerly along the seaward low-water mark of Haulashore Island to the training wall on the southern side of the new entrance, along a line at right angles to the said training wall across the new entrance to the low-water mark on the Boulder Bank, and along the seaward low-water mark of the Boulder Bank to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF THE COUNTY OF WAIMEA

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point on the sea coast of Tasman Bay in line with the southern boundary of Section 5, Block X, Totaranui Survey District, and proceeding generally south-easterly and north-easterly along the aforesaid sea coast crossing the mouths of all harbours and inlets to Pukerau Point; thence south-easterly along a right line to North Castor Peak; thence generally southerly and south-westerly along the summit of the Bryant Range, through the Rai Saddle and Mount Dupa, to Trig. Station B, Saddle Hill; thence south-easterly along a right line to the source of the Heringa Creek to its confluence with the Pelorus River; thence generally south-westerly up the middle of the Pelorus River to its source on the watershed between the Pelorus and Lee Rivers; thence south-easterly approximately 60 chains to Ada Flat in Block VIII, Rintoul Survey District; thence south-westerly along the summit of the range, being the northern watershed of the Richmond Range, and passing through Mount Rintoul, Bishops Cap, and Bushy Top, to Wards Pass, and along a right line to Trig. Station Top 2 situated in Block XV, Motupiko Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern boundary of Section 3, Square 34, and that boundary produced across No. 63 State Highway to its southern side; thence south-westerly along the southern side of the aforesaid No. 63 State Highway to the westernmost corner of Section 6, Square 34; thence easterly along the northern side of a public road to the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Section 6; thence south-easterly along the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Section 6 to the south-eastern corner of Section 11, Block XIV, Motupiko Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid Section 11 to and along the summits of the St. Arnaud Range and the Spencer Mountains, and passing through Mounts St. Arnaud, Cotterell, Mackay, Mahanga, Humboldt, Una, and Faerie Queen, to the junction of the summits of the Spencer Mountains and the watershed between the Glenroy and the Maruia Rivers to the northern boundary of the Lewis Pass Scenic Reserve; thence westerly and northerly generally along the summit of the last-mentioned watershed to Mount Cann; thence south-westerly along the south-eastern boundary of Section 10, Block XIII, Matakiki Survey District and that boundary

produced to the southern side of a public road forming the southern boundary of the aforesaid Section 10; thence westerly along the southern side of the aforesaid road to and along the southern boundary of Block XIII, Matakiki Survey District, to the south-eastern corner of Section 22, Block XVI, Burnett Survey District; thence westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries respectively of the aforesaid Section 22 and the western boundary of Section 21, Block XVI, aforesaid, to the southern boundary of Section 2 of 1 Block XVI, aforesaid; thence westerly generally along the southern boundary of the aforesaid Section 2 of 1, to and across No. 65 State Highway, to and along the southern boundary of Section 1 of 1, Block XVI, aforesaid, and the production of that boundary to the middle of the Maruia River; thence northerly generally along the middle of the Maruia River to the southern boundary of Block XI, Burnett Survey District; thence westerly generally along the last-mentioned boundary and the southern boundary of Block X, Burnett Survey District, to the summit of Victoria Range; thence north-westerly generally along the summit of Victoria Range and northerly generally along the summit of the Brunner Range to its junction with the watershed between Little Deepdale Creek and the Deepdale River; thence north-easterly along the aforesaid watershed to a point due south of the junction of the Eight Mile or Boundary Creek with the Buller River; thence due north along a right line to the mouth of the aforesaid Boundary Creek; thence northerly generally along a leading spur on the western side of the aforesaid Boundary Creek to Bald Hill; thence north-easterly generally along the watershed between the Newton, the Matiri, and the Mokihinui Rivers, passing through Mount Montgomery and Nugget Knob, to the Wangapeka Saddle; thence generally north-easterly, northerly, and again north-easterly, along the Arthur Range, through Luna, Gomorrah, Baton Saddle, Arthur, Lodestone, Crusader, and Hoary Head to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 17, Block I, Motueka Survey District; thence northerly generally along the western boundaries of the aforesaid Section 17, Sections 15 and 14, Block I, Motueka Survey District, Section 5, Block XV, and part Section 4, Block XIV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, to the intersection of the aforesaid part Section 4 with the southern side of No. 60 State Highway, and along a right line to the intersection of the aforesaid No. 60 State Highway with the eastern side of a public road; thence northerly and north-easterly generally along the eastern and south-eastern sides of the aforesaid public road to its intersection with the western side of Canaan Road, and along a right line to the north-western corner of Section 3, Block IV, Kaiteriteri Survey District, being a point on the summit of the Pikikiruna Range; thence north-easterly generally along the summit of the aforesaid Pikikiruna Range to a point on the western boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Totaranui Survey District, in line with the southern boundary of Section 5, Block X, Totaranui Survey District; thence due east to and along the southern boundary of the aforesaid Section 5 and its production to the point of commencement, including therein all adjacent islands in the Moutere and Waimea mud flats, but excluding therefrom the City of Nelson, hereinafter described, the Borough of Richmond, as described in Gazette, 1917, p. 4194, and the Borough of Motueka, as described in Gazette, 1939, p. 2175.

BOUNDARIES OF WHANGAMOA RIDING OF COUNTY OF WAIMEA

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District situated in the Waimea County bounded by a line commencing at a point at low-water mark upon the seaward side of the Boulder Bank, in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Section 16, District of Suburban North, being the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 2A, folio 331, being a point on the boundary of the Waimea County, hereinafter described, and proceeding north-easterly generally along the boundary of the Waimea County to Pukerau Point; thence south-westerly generally along the boundary of the aforesaid Waimea County to the southern boundary of the Maungatapu Survey District; thence westerly along the aforesaid southern boundary to the western corner of the Maungatapu Survey District; thence northerly along the western boundary of the Maungatapu Survey District to the southern boundary of Section 22, Square 18; thence generally westerly and northerly along the southern and western boundaries of the aforesaid Section 22 to the boundary of the City of Nelson, hereinafter described; thence generally northerly and westerly along the boundaries of the City of Nelson to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF WAIMEA EAST RIDING OF COUNTY OF WAIMEA

ALL that area in the Nelson Land District situated in the Waimea County, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of a right line bearing 006°, distance 4,400 links, from O.P. XII, as shown on D.P. 1689, with the sea coast of Tasman Bay, being a point on the boundary of the City of Nelson, hereinafter described, and proceeding generally southerly, easterly, south-easterly, and north-easterly along that boundary to its intersection with the western boundary of Section 22, Square 18; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of the aforesaid Section 22 to the western boundary of the Maungatapu Survey District; thence southerly along the aforesaid western boundary of the Maungatapu Survey District to the south-eastern corner of Block XII, Waimea Survey District; thence westerly along
