RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Sewerage Loan 1968

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Levin Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirty-nine thousand dollars ($39,000) authorised to be raised by the Levin Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing improvements at the sewerage treatment works, laying additional sewer mains, and ancillary work, the said Levin Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.325c in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Levin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed at a meeting of the Levin Borough Council held on 16 September 1968.

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

“THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments and the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $158,400 authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of constructing sanitary drainage works in the Shannon County Town urban drainage area, the said Horowhenua County Council hereby makes a special rate of 3.5163c in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Shannon County Town urban drainage area of the County of Horowhenua; and resolves that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Horowhenua County Council on the 11th day of September 1968.

PAHIATUA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

THAT, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Pahiatua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of fourteen thousand four hundred dollars ($14,400) authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying on maturity that portion of Building Loan 1961—$60,000 which matures on 1 November 1968, the said Pahiatua Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four cents (.04c) in the dollar upon the rateable value, being the unimproved value of all rateable property of the Borough of Pahiatua, comprising the whole of the Borough of Pahiatua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 19 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at the ordinary meeting of the Pahiatua Borough Council held on the 9th day of September 1968.

EASTBOURNE BOROUGH COUNCIL

Seaview Pumping Station Loan 1968, $48,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Eastbourne Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of forty-eight thousand dollars ($48,000) authorised to be raised by the Eastbourne Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a pumping station and providing and installing equipment for the borough water supply, the said Eastbourne Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of point nought seven four cents (.074c) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the borough; and the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Passed at a meeting of the Council held on the 18th day of July 1968.

Wellington City One-way Traffic System Loan 1968 of $200,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 11th day of September 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to be known as the Wellington City One-way Traffic System Loan 1968 of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of implementing portion of a one-way street system and other works made necessary thereby, including a transport terminal, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one three of a cent (.013c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annually-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Wellington City General Property Purchase and Site Improvement Loan 1968 of $200,000

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 11th day of September 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to be known as the Wellington City General Property Purchase and Site Improvement Loan 1968 of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of general property purchase and site improvement, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one nought of a cent (.010c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years or until the loan is fully paid off”.
