Pursuant to section 25 of the Public Works Act 1928, the
Minister of Works hereby declares that the land reserved for
police purposes described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby
set apart for road and the land described in the Second
Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the use, convenience,
or enjoyment of a road, from and after the 16th day of
September 1968.

Land Reserved for Police Purposes for Road
All that piece of land containing 38.5 perches situated in
Block V, Takapau Survey District, Hawke's Bay R.D., and
being part Section 168, as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21646 (S.O. 5697)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured orange.
SECOND SCHEDULE
Hawke's Bay Land District
Land Reserved for Police Purposes for Use, Convenience,
or Enjoyment of a Road
All that piece of land containing 3 roods 1.4 perches situated
in Block V, Takapau Survey District, Hawke's Bay R.D.,
and being part Section 168; as the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21646 (S.O. 5697)
deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington,
and thereon coloured edged orange.

Pursuant to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment
Act 1948, the Minister of Works hereby proclaims as road the
land described in the First Schedule hereto, and also hereby
proclaims as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto; and declares that the road first and secondly
described in the said Second Schedule hereto when closed
shall vest in Joseph Hilton Taylor, of Masterton, sheep
farmer, subject to memoranda of mortgage No. 450939 and
450940, and that the road thirdly and fourthly described in
the said Second Schedule hereto when closed shall vest
in Peter Guy Hargreaves, of Masterton, farmer, subject
to memoranda of mortgage No. 545887 and 633136; and
also hereby takes the land described in the Third Schedule
hereto for the purpose of subsection (6) of the said section
29 and declares that when so taken it shall vest in Peter
