RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Certified copy of a resolution passed at a meeting of the Auckland City Council, held on the 21st day of August 1968:

“That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and amendments, the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendment, and regulations thereunder, and of all other powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing interest and other charges on a loan of one hundred and eighty-eight thousand dollars ($188,000) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 41, 1968, $188,000, which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of repaying on maturity portions of the Acquisition of Properties Loan 1955, $300,000, Second Issue of $120,000, and Building Acquisition Loan 1956, $300,000, First Issue of $120,000, the said Auckland City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal point nought five eight six of a cent (.0586c) in the dollar ($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property (of Auckland City) comprising the whole of the City of Auckland; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Reserves Loan No. 3, 1968, $27,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $27,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-named Acts for the purpose of and incidental to the development of regional reserves, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule attached hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities the names of which are listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall, at the lender’s option, be for periods of 6, 10, and 20 years from the 1st day of October 1968, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RAETIHI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Raetihi Borough Council resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Raetihi Borough Council for the purpose of supplying and distributing electricity within the Council’s area, the said Raetihi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of $0.01 in the dollar on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Borough of Raetihi; such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on the 1st day of December in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Raetihi Borough Council at its meeting held on 26 August 1968.

PALMERSTON NORTH CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Massey University Loan 1966, $180,000—First Instalment of $90,000

THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and all other powers in that behalf thereunto enabling it, the Palmerston North City Council doth hereby resolve as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of ninety thousand dollars ($90,000) authorised to be raised by the Palmerston North City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making a grant to the Massey University of the Manawatu for the erection of halls of residence and facilities at the University, the said Palmerston North City Council hereby makes a special rate of two hundred and three ten-thousandths of a cent (0.0203c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (upon the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the City of Palmerston North; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan
