RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 12, 1968

THAT, whereas the sum of $30,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Te Atatu Sewerage Loan 1962, $440,000, is due and payable on the 30th day of September 1968, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $2,600 and the sum of $27,400 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of £27,400 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $27,400 shall be payable on the 30th day of September 1992, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 12, 1968, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.025c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Te Atatu Riding rating area; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

Redemption Loan No. 13, 1968

THAT, whereas the sum of $13,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Waipareira “C” Sewer Loan 1963, $504,000, is due and payable on the 30th day of September, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $1,200 and the sum of $11,800 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $11,800 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $11,800 shall be payable on the 30th day of September 1993, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 13, 1968, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.033c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within that portion of the Waipareira Riding urban drainage area, designated “C” by special order dated 7 August 1962; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

THAT, whereas the sum of $22,400, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Glenfield Sewer Loan No. 1, 1960, $560,000, is due and payable on the 15th day of November 1968, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $2,500 and the sum of $19,900 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $19,900 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $19,900 shall be payable on the 15th day of November 1992, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 14, 1968, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.014c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within that portion of the Glenfield Riding designated as a separate rating area by special order; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

THAT, whereas the sum of $25,100, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Water Supply Development Loan No. 2, 1960, $400,000, is due and payable on the 15th day of November 1968, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $2,800 and the sum of $22,300 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $22,300 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $22,300 shall be payable on the 15th day of November 1992, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges, on the Redemption Loan No. 15, 1968, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0026c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

(a) To borrow the sum of $21,000 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $21,000 shall be payable on the 15th day of November 1992, or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 16, 1968, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.019c in the dollar on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the Te Atatu Riding rating area; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 24 years or until the loan is fully paid off.
