WAIPU RIDING

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Whangarei
County, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost
corner of Lot 1, D.P. 1578, in Block X, Ruakaka Survey Dis-
trict, and proceeding easterly generally along the generally
southern boundary of Ruakaka Riding, as hereinbefore
described, to and southerly, westerly, and northerly generally
along the generally eastern, southern, and western boundaries
of Whangarei County, as described in New Zealand Gazette,
1960, p. 2004, and amended by New Zealand Gazette, 1968,
p. 74, to the northernmost corner of Allotment 359, Waipu
Parish, in Block XII, Ruakaka Survey District; thence south-
easterly along the south-western boundary of Allotment 155,
Ruarangi Parish, and the last-mentioned boundary produced
across a public road to and northerly generally along the
generally eastern side of that public road forming the generally
eastern boundaries of the said Allotment 155 and Allotments
115 and 154, Ruarangi Parish, and continuing along the south-
western boundary of an area of 1 acre 1 rood 17 perches,
shown on S.O. Plan 16464, to the easternmost corner of Allot-
ment 133, Ruarangi Parish, in Block IX, Ruakaka Survey
District; thence westerly and northerly generally along the
northern and eastern boundaries of that allotment and the
last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road to and
northerly generally along the north-eastern side of a public
road forming the north-eastern boundary of the part Allot-
ment 109, comprised in C.T. 545/261, to and along the south-
eastern boundary of Allotment S.E. 110 to the easternmost
corner of that allotment, all the aforesaid allotments being
of Ruarangi Parish; thence south-easterly along the south-
western boundaries of Allotments 161 and 125, Mangapai
Parish, and the north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, D.P.
44520, and Allotments 496, 391, 550, and 195, Waipu Parish,
to and north-easterly along the north-western boundaries of
Allotments 245 and 222, Waipu Parish, and the last-mentioned
boundary produced across Ormistons Road to the point of
commencement.

Special Order Made by Matamata County Council Altering
Riding Boundaries

PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, I hereby
publish the following special order made by the Matamata
County Council.

SPECIAL ORDER

IN exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 23 of
the Counties Act 1956 and amendments thereto, the Mata-
mata County Council resolves, by way of special order, as
follows:

1. That the present boundaries of the Tokoroa and Maun-
   gaiti Ridings be altered by the transfer of the following areas
   from the Maungaiti Riding to the Tokoroa Riding:
   (a) Lot 1, D.P. S. 10378.
   (b) Lot 1, D.P. S. 9679.
   (c) Part Lot 31, D.P. 23867.
2. That the boundaries of the Tokoroa and Maungaiti
   Ridings be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
3. That the alterations hereby made shall take effect as from
   the 1st day of October 1968.

SCHEDULE

ALTERING AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TOKOROA
AND MAUNGAITI RIDINGS OF THE COUNTY OF MATAMATA

Tokoroa Riding

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Matamata
County, bounded by a line commencing at the easternmost
corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 10378, situated in Block VIII, Patetere
South Survey District, and proceeding southerly and westerly,
along the eastern and southern boundaries of that lot and the
last-mentioned boundary produced to the generally western
side of State Highway No. 1; thence southerly generally, along
that side, to the generally north-western side of Campbell
Road, situated in Block XII of the aforesaid survey district;
thence south-westerly generally along that roadside to the
easternmost corner of Lot 25, D.P. 23865, being a point on
the south-western side of the Tokoroa Branch Railway; thence
north-westerly along that side to and south-westerly along the
north-western boundaries of Lots 20 and 19, D.P. 23865, to
the middle of the Matarawa Stream, situated in Block XI of
the aforesaid survey district; thence northerly generally down
the middle of that stream to the north-western corner of Lot
31, D.P. 23867, situated in Block VIII of the aforesaid survey
district; thence north-easterly, along the north-western bound-
ary of that lot, to the western side of Paraonui Road; thence
along a right line to the north-western corner of Lot 1, D.P.
S. 9679; thence north-easterly generally, along the north-
western boundary of that lot produced to the middle of the
Whakauru Stream; thence south-easterly generally up the
middle of the said stream, to and north-easterly along the
north-western boundary of part Lot 6, D.P. 23866, situated
in Block VIII of the aforesaid survey district, produced to the
eastern side of the Tokoroa Branch Railway; thence southerly,
along that side, to the middle of the Whakauru Stream; thence
south-easterly generally up the middle of that stream to a
point, bearing 18° 30', 40 links from the northernmost corner
of Lot 14, D.P. 22967; thence along a right line to that corner,
and south-easterly along the north-eastern boundaries of the
said Lot 14, part Lot 15, D.P. 22967, and Lot 6, D.P. S. 2424,
to the generally northern side of Mossops Road; thence due
south to the generally southern side of that road; thence
along that southern side, to the point of commencement.

Maungaiti Riding

ALL that area in the South Auckland Land District, Mata-
mata County, bounded by a line commencing at the inter-
section of the production westerly of the northern boundary
of the land shown on D.P. 21718 with the middle of the
Waikato River, situated in Block VIII, Wharepapa Survey
District, and proceeding easterly to and along that northern
boundary, to and northerly, easterly, and again northerly
along the western, northern, and western boundaries of Lot 1,
D.P. 21950, and northerly along the western end of Maraetai
Road and the western boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 21950, situated
in Block V, Patetere South Survey District, to and easterly
generally along the northern boundaries of that Lot 2, and
Lot 5, D.P. S. 12209, to the western side of Old Taupo Road,
situated in Block VII of the aforesaid survey district; thence
north-easterly along a right line to the westernmost corner of
Lot 36, D.P. 23867; thence north-easterly, along the north-
western boundaries of Lots 36, 35, 34, part 33, and part 32,
to the middle of the Matarawa Stream, being a point on the
boundary of the Tokoroa Riding hereinbefore described; thence
southerly, easterly, and northerly generally along the gener-
ally western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the Tokoroa
Riding hereinbefore described, to the north-western boundary
of part Lot 4, D.P. 23866, situated in Block VIII of the afore-
said survey district; thence north-easterly, along that boundary,
to the northernmost corner of the said Lot 4; thence along a
right line to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 13,
D.P. 23866, and its production, to and along the north-western
boundaries of Lot 1, D.P. S. 7261, part Lot 1 and Lot 2, D.P.
S. 6891, to the left bank of the Pokaiwhenua Stream; thence
easterly generally along that left bank to the western boundary
of Lot 5, D.P. 20030; thence northerly generally along that
boundary and the western boundary of part Lot 1, D.P. 20030,
to the northernmost corner of that part Lot 1; thence south-
easterly along the north-eastern boundary of part Lot 1, afore-
said, to Trig. Station Pukerimu, situated in Block III, Ngau-
tuku Survey District, and easterly along the northern boundary
of Lot 1, D.P. 20031, to the southernmost corner of Block III,
Horohoro West Survey District; thence north-easterly, along
the boundary between the Horohoro West and Horohoro Sur-
vey Districts, to the westernmost corner of Lot 1, D.P. S. 9825,
situated in Block V, Horohoro Survey District; thence south-
easterly, along the south-western boundary of that Lot 1,
to its southernmost corner; thence south-easterly along a right
line to the north-western corner of Patetere South 1B 3, situ-
ated in Block IX, Horohoro Survey District, and along the
south-western boundary of the said 1B 3 to the northernmost
corner of part Lot 11, D.P. 12325; thence south-westerly along
the north-western boundaries of that part Lot 11 and part Lot
10, D.P. 12325, to the westernmost corner of that part Lot 10;
thence southerly along the western boundaries of that part
Lot 10 and Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 20272, and the production of
the last-named boundary, to the south-eastern side of No. 30
State Highway; thence north-easterly, along that roadside, to
the middle of a tributary of the Whangapoa Stream; thence
