south-easterly to and down the middle of Canyon Creek,
Mathias River, and the Rakaia River to its intersection with
the south-western side of No. 1 State Highway; thence south-
westerly along the side of that highway to the right bank
of the Rakaia River; thence south-easterly down that bank to
the mean high-water mark of the sea; thence south-westerly
along the mean high-water mark of the sea to the middle of
the mouth of the Rangitata River; thence generally north-
west er ly up the middle of that river, the Havelock River
and the Forbes River, to and along the northern boundary
of Run 1'10B to the summit of the Two Thumb Range, in

and along the north-eastern shores of that lake to the middle
