Southland Milk District

ALL that area in the Southland and Otago Land Districts, comprising the City of Invercargill, the Boroughs of Gore, Mataura, Winton, Bluff, and Riverton, the Independent Town Districts of Otautau and Wyndham, the Counties of Fiord, Stewart Island, and Southland, and parts of the Counties of Lake and Wallace, bounded by a line commencing in the middle of the mouth of Longbeach Creek in Block 13, Tautuku S.D. and proceeding generally westerly and north-easterly along the mean high-water mark of the sea to the boundary of the Otago Land District being a point on the Otago Milk District as hereinbefore described; thence generally all south-easterly along the boundary of the Otago Milk District to the middle of the mouth of Longbeach Creek being the point of commencement, but also including Stewart Island, Codfish Island, Ruapeke Island, Resolution Island, Secretary Island, and all other adjacent islands in the Counties of Fiord and Stewart Island.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

This note is not part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general effect.

This order constitutes and declares parts of New Zealand to be milk districts under the Milk Act 1967.

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

ORDER

  1. (i) This order may be cited as the Waitemata Electric Power District Representation Order 1968.

(ii) This order shall come into force on the date of the next general election of members of local authorities.
