Exemption Order Under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964

PURSUANT to the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964*, the Minister of Transport hereby orders and declares that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 16 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provisions shall apply:

A motor driver’s licence issued under the Motor Drivers Regulations 1964* to the person described in column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorise him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment for the employer described in column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorise him, while he is under the age of 18 years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Change of the Purpose of Reserves

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby changes the purpose of the reserves described in the Schedule hereto from reserves for plantation purposes to reserves for the purposes specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the said lands.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Taranaki County Council and Revocation of the Reservation Over Balance Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Taranaki and revokes the reservation over the balance reserve for public pound purposes described in the Schedule hereto.

Kaitaia Drainage Area: Penalty on Overdue Rates

PURSUANT to section 76 of the Rating Act 1925 and the Swamp Drainage Act 1915 and its amendments, the rate-payers within the Kaitaia Drainage Area are hereby notified that 10 percent additional charge will be added to all rates for the year ending 31 March 1968 unpaid on 15 March 1968.

Rates may be paid at any money-order office or to the Collector of Rates, Lands and Survey Department, P.O. Box 2206, Auckland C. 1, or at the office of the Lands and Survey Department, Melba Street, Kaitaia.
