PURSUANT to section 11 of the Housing Act 1955, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby orders and declares that the service lane described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this order in Council, vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Manukau and be under the control and management of the Manukau City Council.

Authorising the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Co. Ltd., of Auckland, Fertiliser Manufacturers, to Erect and Use Certain Electric Lines in the City of Auckland

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the New Zealand Farmers’ Fertiliser Co. Ltd., of Auckland, fertiliser manufacturers (hereinafter referred to as the licensee), subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, to lay, construct, put up, place, and use the electric lines described in the Schedule hereto.


CONDITIONS

IMPLIED CONDITIONS

  1. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, shall be incorporated in, and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as the same may be inconsistent with the provisions hereof.

LICENCE SUBJECT TO REGULATIONS

  1. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor respectively.

SYSTEM OF SUPPLY

  1. The system of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a, b, f) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, and shall be an alternating-current system.

DURATION OF LICENCE

  1. Unless sooner lawfully determined, this licence shall continue in force until the 31st day of March 1989.

SCHEDULE

LINES for the supply of electrical energy by the system of supply hereinbefore described, commencing from the licensee’s generator, and proceeding by submarine cable in a westerly direction across Harania Creek in the Manukau Harbour to the licensee’s pumping station situated north of Norana Avenue, the route of the said cable being more particularly shown by means of a red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 735, and deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the South Canterbury Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1968.

  2. Subject to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the South Canterbury Electric Power Board (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) is hereby authorised to lay, construct, put up, place, and use electric lines, and to construct electric works which may from time to time be required for the distribution and supply of electrical energy within the area of supply described in the Schedule hereto.

  3. The conditions directed to be implied in all licences by the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967 and the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, shall be incorporated herein and shall form part of this licence, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  4. The licence hereby conferred is subject to compliance by the licensee with the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967, the Electrical Wiring Regulations 1961, the Radio Interference Regulations 1958, and with all regulations made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor, except in so far as they may be inconsistent with the provisions of this licence.

  5. The systems of supply shall be as described in paragraphs (a), (b), (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) of regulation 15 of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1967.

  6. This licence shall unless it is sooner lawfully determined, continue in force until the 31st day of March 1988.


SCHEDULE

AREA OF SUPPLY

  1. The South Canterbury Electric Power District as defined in the Third Schedule to the Proclamation dated the 23rd day of August 1957 and published in the Gazette on the 29th day of the same month at page 1575, excluding the area of supply of the Timaru City Council as defined in the Order in Council dated the 19th day of May 1965 and published in the Gazette on the 27th day of the same month at page 858, authorising the Timaru City Council to erect and maintain electric lines.

  2. The Outer Area of the South Canterbury Electric Power District as defined in the Proclamation dated the 18th day of April 1967 and published in the Gazette on the 27th day of the same month at page 773.
