Revocation of Order in Council Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 29th day of January 1968
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on 22 October 1952, and published in the Gazette, 6 November 1952, No. 71, page 1818, and affecting the land set out in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 439 (5) of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby revokes the Order in Council made on 17 August 1960 and published in Gazette, 25 August 1960, No. 54, page 1266, and affecting the lands set out in the Schedule hereto.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation, for the purpose of a marae and meeting place for the common use of the members of the Ngati Turu, Ngati Te Ngakau, Ngati Tamatera, and Ngati Meke Hapus of the Arawa Tribe, and for the people of Ngongotaha and surrounding districts generally.
