Fixing the Number of Members to be Elected for Each Ward of the East Coast Pest Destruction District (Notice No. Ag. 10276)
PURSUANT to section 33 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the East Coast Pest Destruction Board hereby declares that the number of members to be elected for each ward of the East Coast Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of December 1909, Gazette, 1909, Vol. II, p. 3305, shall be the number specified in the Schedule hereto opposite the name of the ward.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Emergency Protection Authority has been requested by the Minister of Industries and Commerce to undertake an inquiry, in terms of the Tariff and Development Board Amendment Act 1967, concerning the following goods:
Spades falling within Tariff item 82.01.02

Division of East Coast Pest Destruction District into Wards (Notice No. Ag. 10275)
PURSUANT to section 21 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, the East Coast Pest Destruction Board hereby declares that the East Coast Pest Destruction District, which was constituted by Order in Council on the 14th day of December 1909*, is hereby divided into wards, the names and boundaries of which are specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
Boundaries of Ward 1, Whakatane County—That portion of the Whakatane County within the East Coast Pest Destruction District together with Whakatane Borough, Murupara Borough, and those portions of the Taupo County; firstly, bounded by a line commencing at the junction of the right banks of the Otueta and Wheao Streams in Block VI, Heruwi Survey District; thence down the right bank of the Wheao Stream to its intersection with the right line between Trig. Station 78A, Pekepeke, in Block III, Wheao Survey District, and Trig. Station 76, Taupiri, in Block XII, Wheao Survey District; thence generally southerly along that right line to the last-mentioned trig. station, along another right line to Trig. Station F, Tiritiri, in Block III, Heruwi Survey District, along another right line between the last-mentioned trig. and Trig. Station B, Pukeroa, in Block XI, Heruwi Survey District, to its intersection with the right line between the junction of the Otueta and Wheao Streams and Trig. Station A, Pohokura, in Block IX, Mangahopai West Survey District; thence north-westerly along the last-mentioned right line to the point of commencement; and, secondly, bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station A, Pohokura, in Block IX, Mangahopai Survey District; thence north-westerly along the right line between that trig. station and the junction of the Otueta and Wheao Streams, in Block VI, Heruwi Survey District, to its intersection with the right line between Trig. Station B, Pukeroa, in Block XI, Heruwi Survey District, and Trig. Station Te Taumutu in Block XVI, Heruwi Survey District; thence south-easterly along the last-mentioned right line to the last-mentioned trig. and along another right line to a point, being the intersection of a right line from the northernmost point of Lake Waikaremoana and passing through a point 180 chains due north of Trig. Station Maungataniwha in Block XIV, Tuawatawata Survey District, with a right line between Trig. Station 76A, Tawhiwhau, in Block XIV, Galatea Survey District, and Trig. Station 69, Tataraakina, in Block VIII, Tarawera Survey District; thence south-easterly along a right line between that last-mentioned point and a point in the middle of the Te Hoe River in line with the south-western boundary of Heruwi No. 4 Block to its intersection with the south-eastern watershed of the Rangitaiki and Whakatane Rivers in Block XIII, Tuawatawata Survey District; thence generally south-westerly along that watershed to the northernmost corner of Pohokura No. 1 Block, in Block IV, Runanga Survey District; thence southerly along the western boundary of Pohokura No. 1 Block to the point of commencement.
Boundaries of Ward 2, being the district of Opotiki County.
Boundaries of Ward 3, being the district of Waiapu County.
Boundaries of Ward 4, being the district of Waikohu County.
Boundaries of Ward 5, being the district of Cook County.
Boundaries of Ward 6, Wairoa County—That portion of the Wairoa County within the East Coast Pest Destruction District together with Wairoa Borough and that portion of the Taupo County bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of the Mohaka River in line with the western boundary of Tataraakina No. 11 Block in Block VIII, Waitara Survey District; thence up the middle of the Mohaka and Waipunga Rivers to the middle line of the Waipunga Bridge where the Waipunga River first crosses No. 5 National State Highway in Block IX, Runanga Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 57, Opureke, in Block VI, Runanga Survey District; thence easterly along a right line to Trig. Station A, Pohokura, in Block IX, Mangahopai West Survey District; thence southerly and easterly along the western and southern boundaries of Pohokura No. 1 Block to the western boundary of Tataraakina No. 11 Block; thence generally southerly along that boundary and its production to the point of commencement.

Special Order Made by Mount Albert Borough Council Altering Ward Boundaries
PURSUANT to section 24 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, I hereby publish the following special order made by the Mount Albert Borough Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
RESOLVED:
“In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 23 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, the Mount Albert Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, as follows:
(a) The present subdivision of the borough into five wards shall be revoked and in lieu thereof the borough shall be redivided into five wards known respectively as A, B, C, D, and E wards, as described in the Schedule hereto, which Schedule also redefines the boundaries of the borough.
(b) Exclusive of the Mayor, the Mount Albert Borough Council shall continue to consist of 10 members, 2 of whom shall be elected by each of the five wards in the said borough, known as A, B, C, D, and E.
(c) The division of the borough of Mount Albert shall be for the purposes of representation only.
