Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation Redemption Loan No. 1, 1968—$15,300

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 July 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $15,300 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Wainuiomata Sewerage Reticulation Loan 1954, $220,000, which matures on 1 August 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.041c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 56 special rating area of Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 July 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $15,300 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Wainuiomata Sewerage Treatment Works Loan 1954, $250,000, which matures on 1 August 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.02c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 55 special rating area of Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt, and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 July 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $7,600 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Maoribank - Te Marua Water Supply Loan 1960, $151,000, which matures on 1 August 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.016c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 61 special rating area of Rimutaka Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $11,900 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Heretaunga Sewerage Loan 1962, $44,000, which matures on 1 August 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1.106c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 63 special rating area of Heretaunga Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

KAIAPOI BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Kaiapoi Borough Council, at a properly constituted meeting held on the 28th day of May 1968, approved the following resolution:

“That, for the purpose of securing the annual charges on a loan of $21,500 authorised to be raised by the Kaiapoi Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the erection of accommodation for old people, the said Kaiapoi Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one one six cents (0.0116c) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the Borough of Kaiapoi, such special rate to be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the said loan”.

Westland Electric Power Board No. 1 Works Loan 1968—$60,000

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, at a meeting of the Westland Electric Power Board held on the 24th day of July 1968, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, the Westland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) authorised to be raised by the Westland Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of extending and upgrading the Board’s distribution system and generating plant, the Westland Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.42375 of one cent (0.42375c) in the dollar ($) on the unimproved value of all rateable property in the Westland Electric Power Board district; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being for the period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $60,000 authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a public library and making additions to the municipal office, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of .0402c in the $ on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Papakura Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
