Notice of Intention to Take Land for Road

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work namely, the construction of a road, and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council. Barke’s Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public work or the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council at Tauranga; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

NORTH AUCKLAND ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the North Auckland Electric Power Board, held on the 11th day of July 1968, the following resolution was passed:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000) authorised to be raised by the North Auckland Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of improving and extending the electricity supply in the Boards district, the said North Auckland Electric Power Board hereby makes a special rate of decimal one three five one cents (.1351c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the North Auckland Electric Power District; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty (20) years or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAITEMATA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Redemption Loan No. 10, 1968

THAT, whereas the sum of $15,000, borrowed by the Waitemata County Council under the Public Conveniences Loan 1967, $41,000, is due and payable on the 18th day of August, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to only $6,800 and the sum of $8,200 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County Council, in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, hereby resolves:

(a) To borrow the sum of $8,200 for the purpose of repaying the said loan.

(b) That the sum of $8,200 shall be payable on the 18th day of August 1978 or such earlier date as may be determined by Council.

(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal, and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 10, 1968, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0018c in the $ on the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property within the County of Waitemata; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years or until the loan is fully paid off.

(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution.

OHINEMURI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 2, 1968—$100,000

NOTICE is hereby given that, at an ordinary meeting of the Ohinemuri County Council held on the 12th day of July 1968, the following resolution was passed:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $100,000 authorised to be raised by the Ohinemuri County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Ohinemuri County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.16096c in the dollar on the basis of the unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Ohinemuri, excluding the Waihi Beach County Town; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years or until the loan is fully paid off”.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Pinehaven Sewerage Redemption Loan 1968—$7,500

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 July 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $7,500 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repaying part of the Pinehaven Sewerage Loan 1957, $108,000, which matures on 1 August 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.05c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 53 special rating area of Heretaunga Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Wainuiomata Sewerage Treatment Works Redemption Loan No. 2, 1968—$52,400

I certify that the Hutt County Council passed the following resolution at its meeting on 18 July 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hutt County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $52,400 authorised to be raised by the Hutt County Council under the above-mentioned Act for repayment of part of the Wainuiomata Sewerage Treatment Works Loan 1954, $250,000, which matures on 1 September 1968, the Hutt County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.071c in the dollar upon the unimproved value of all rateable property in the No. 55 special rating area of Wainuiomata Riding of the County of Hutt; and that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable on 1 September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 18 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.
