SECURITY RATE FOR LOAN

I, Earle Lewis Worke Reid, Town Clerk of the Kaitaia Borough Council, do hereby give notice that the Council did pass, on the 24th day of July 1968, the resolution following:
“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on the Footpath Construction Loan No. 2, 1968—$12,000, authorised to be raised by the Kaitaia Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of constructing concrete footpaths, the Council hereby makes a special rate of seven-tenths of a cent (.07c) in the dollar upon all rateable property in the borough (on the basis of unimproved values); and also hereby resolves that the special rate shall be an annually recurring rate and be payable on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off”.

Notice of Application for Consent to Conditional Use
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made by Mamma-Mia Motels Ltd. for consent to the use of land as a site for motels.
The property is located in the residential zone near the corner of Omahu Road and Ballantyne Street, and immediately behind and adjacent to the present motels of the applicant.
The legal description of the land is an area of thirty decimal three perches (30.3p) being part Lot 1 Deposited Plan 2383, and part Lot 7, Deposited Plan 2876, and part certificate of title, C. 3/42.
The application may be examined at the offices of the Hastings City Council during normal office hours and any person or body affected may object to the application by notice in writing delivered to the Town Clerk, Hastings City Council, P.O. Box 218, Hastings, not later than Sunday, the 25th day of August 1968.
Every objector shall state the grounds of the objection and whether the objector wishes to be heard by the Council in support of his objection.

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in accordance with the consent notice issued in Wellington and dated the 30th day of May 1968, that consent has been given to the borrowing of the above sum of $1,000 by the Waipawa Borough Council.
The security for the loan shall be a special rate of decimal nought nought nine one cents (.0091c) in the dollar ($) made and levied upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Waipawa.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF SCHEME

IN the matter of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957 and in the matter of of the Will of George Mitchell, of Governor’s Bay, near Christchurch, retired merchant, now deceased:
NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 36 of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, that the Public Trustee, the Trustee of the said Will, and the Christchurch Presbyterian Social Service Association (Incorporated), a beneficiary charity under the said Will, have applied to the Supreme Court at Christchurch for approval of a scheme for the disposition of certain of the capital assets and income now held by the said Public Trustee on the Charitable Trusts set out in clause 8 of the said Will. The said scheme provides for the payment of all income now or hereafter payable by the Public Trustee to the Christchurch Presbyterian Social Association (Incorporated) and all income received by the said Association from any investments or other assets held on the trusts of the said Will to be applied by the Association primarily to provide financial assistance for girls requiring the same, about to leave the homes of the said Association, and to the extent such income exceeds such requirements to be applied by the Association in its discretion for advancement and benefit generally of the girls under the care of the said Association. A copy of the said scheme has been deposited in and may be inspected at the Registry Office of the Supreme Court at Christchurch. It is proposed that the application for approval be heard at Christchurch on the 14th day of September 1968 at 10 a.m. Any person desiring to oppose the said scheme is required to give notice of his intention to do so to the Registrar of the said Court, and to the Public Trustee and the said Christchurch Presbyterian Social Service (Incorporated), and to the Attorney General not less than seven clear days before the said 14th day of September 1968.
