amendment, and regulations thereunder, and all other
powers thereunto enabling it, the Auckland City Council
hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing interest and other
charges on a loan of ninety-three thousand five hundred dollars
($93,500) to be known as the Redemption Loan No. 39, 1968,
which amount is proposed to be raised by the Auckland City
Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of
repaying on maturity those portions of the Drainage Loan
1955, £111,500, General Purposes Loan 1956, £284,000, and
the Works Loan 1957, £700,000, which mature on 1 July
1968, and the cost of raising the loan, the said Auckland
City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of decimal
point nought three four six of a cent (.0346c) in the dollar
($) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value)
of all rateable property of Auckland City (comprising the
whole of the City of Auckland), and that the said special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of June
in each and every year during the currency of the said loan,
or until is fully paid off."

DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Danne-
virke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of twelve thousand dollars ($12,000) authorised to be
raised by the Dannevirke Borough Council under the above-
mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting a staff house,
office, and ancillary works, the said Dannevirke Borough
Council hereby makes a special rate of nought decimal point
nought three five cents (0.035c) in the dollar upon the rate-
able value of all rateable property within the whole Borough
of Dannevirke; and that the special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years or until
the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Danne-
virke Borough Council held on the 15th day of July 1968.

DANNEVIRKE BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Danne-
virke Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of two hundred and twenty-one thousand dollars
($221,000) authorised to be raised by the Dannevirke Borough
Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of
improving the borough water supply, the said Dannevirke
Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of nought deci-
mal point five nine five cents (0.595c) in the dollar upon
the rateable value of all rateable property within the whole
Borough of Dannevirke; and that the special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be
payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years
or until the loan is fully paid off.

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Danne-
virke Borough Council held on the 15th day of July 1968.

COUNTY OF HOROWHENUA

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

"THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Counties Act 1956 and amendments and
the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and amendments and all
other powers thereunto enabling it, the Horowhenua County
Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of $78,000 authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua
County Council under the above-mentioned Acts for the pur-
pose of enlarging the capacity of the Waikanae water-supply
headworks and improving the water supply reticulation in the

Waikanae Beach area; the said Horowhenua County Council
hereby makes a special rate of 0.1729c in the dollar upon the
rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all
rateable property in the Waikanae County Town of the County
of Horowhenua; and that the special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable
yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during
the currency of the said loan, or until the loan is fully paid
off."

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy
of the resolution passed by the Horowhenua County Council
on the 10th day of April 1968.

FEATHERSTON COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

EXTRACT from the minutes of proceedings of the Featherston
County Council at a meeting of such Council held on the
12th day of July 1968.

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the
Featherston County Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a
loan of $12,000 called the Bridge Loan 1968, authorised to
be raised by the Featherston County Council under the
Local Bodies Loans Act 1956 for the constructing and recon-
struction of bridges and culverts in the County of Featherston,
the said Featherston County Council hereby makes a special
rate of 0.02022c in the dollar upon the rateable value (on
the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
of the whole of the County of Featherston; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 17th day
of July in each and every year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully
paid off.

The Common Seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and
Inhabitants of the County of Featherston was hereto affixed
at the office of, and pursuant to a resolution of, the Featherston
County Council in the presence of:

PORIRUA CITY COUNCIL

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1953

Public Notification of Changes No. 1 and No. 2 to the Porirua
District Scheme

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that, pursuant to a resolution of
the Porirua City Council made on the 17th day of July 1968,
changes No. 1 and No. 2 to the district scheme have been
recommended for approval under the Town and Country
Planning Act 1953. The changes relate to a change to the
residential-rural zone boundaries at Titahi Bay and to a
provision allowing a reduction in the minimum permissible
area of rear lots in subdivisions in residential zones where these
adjoin public open space. The changes have been deposited in
the Municipal Offices, Hagley Street, and the Public Library,
Cobham Court, in accordance with section 22 (1) of the Act,
and are there open for inspection without fee to all persons
interested therein at any time when the above places are open
to the public.

Objections to the changes shall be in writing in form E
prescribed in the First Schedule to the Town and Country
Planning Regulations 1960, and shall be lodged at the office
of the Council at any time not later than the 20th day of
September 1968. At a later date every objection will be open
for public inspection and any person who wishes to support
or oppose any objection will be entitled to be heard at the
hearing of objections if he notifies the Town Clerk in writing
within the period of which public notice will be given.
