the taking of the said pieces of land or any of them and who
has any objection to such taking should, pursuant to section
22 (1) (d) of the Public Works Act 1928, set forth in writing
any objection he may wish to make to the execution of the,
said works or to the taking of the said pieces of land or any
of them (not being an objection to the amount or payment of
compensation) and send such written objection within forty
(40) days from the first publication of this notice to the Lower
Hutt City Council at the above address.

AUCKLAND REGIONAL AUTHORITY
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Bulk Water (Redemption) Loan No. 21, 1968—$376,000
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Board Act 1956 and the
Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional
Authority has resolved to the following effect:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan
of $376,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional
Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for redeeming the
unpaid balances of several loans raised by the Auckland City
Council in connection with its bulk water-supply undertaking,
which liability was taken over by the Auckland Regional Authority
in terms of section 42 of the Auckland Regional Authority Act
1963, plus the cost of raising such loan, the Auckland Regional
Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in
the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the
rateable values set out against such amounts respectively in the
third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local
authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out
against such amounts and rateable values respectively; and that
the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the cur-
rency of the loan, which shall, at the lenders option, be for periods
of 6, 10, and 20 years from the 17th day of September 1968, or
until the loan is fully paid off".

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Tokoroa Sewerage Supplementary Loan 1968—$22,000
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata
County Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on
a loan of twenty-two thousand dollars ($22,000) authorised
to be raised by the Matamata County Council for the purpose
of completing the purpose for which the Tokoroa Sewerage
Loan No. 2, 1962-$220,000 was sanctioned, the said
Matamata County Council hereby makes a special rate of
decimal nought seven eight five cents (.0785c) in the dollar
($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved
value) of all rateable property in the Tokoroa sewerage loan
special rating area in the County of Matamata; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of the loan and be payable half yearly on the
1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and
every year during the currency of the Loan, being a period of
twenty-four (24) years, or until the loan is paid off".
The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted
meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 11th day
of July 1968.
