IN THE MATTER of the Companies Act 1955 and IN THE MATTER of JIM McCORMICK LIMITED a duly incorporated company having its registered office at the office of E. D. Bennett, Esq., public accountant, of 82 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the Supreme Court was, on the 17th day of July 1968, presented to the said Court by MODERN MOTOR BODIES (1965) LIMITED a duly incorporated company having its registered office at the offices of Messrs Lyttle Sheppard and Walker, public accountants, of 104 Hereford Street, Christchurch; designers and builders of motor bodies. And that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Christchurch, on the 7th day of August 1968, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

NOTE—Any person who intends to appear on the hearing of the said petition must serve on or send by post, to the above-named, notice in writing of his intention so to do. The notice must state the name, address, and description of the person, or, if a firm, the name, address, and description of the firm, and an address for service within 3 miles of the office of the Supreme Court at Christchurch; and must be signed by the person or firm, or his or their solicitor (if any), and must be served, or, if posted, must be sent by post in sufficient time to reach the above-named petitioner’s address for service not later than 4 o’clock in the afternoon of the 6th day of August 1968.

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hobson County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Counties Act 1956 and of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the provision of a road within the County of Hobson; and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the clerk to the said Council, situated in Dargaville, and is there open for inspection to all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, at the County Office, Dargaville; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.

MOUNT ROSKILL BOROUGH COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

IN the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and the Public Works Act 1928, notice is hereby given that the Mount Roskill Borough Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, to execute certain public works, namely, the diversion of Halsey Drive in the Borough of Mount Roskill, and, for the purpose of such public work, the lands described in the First Schedule hereto are required to be taken and it is necessary to stop the portion of road described in the Second Schedule hereto.

Notice is further hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken and the road to be stopped is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk of the said Council, situated in Mount Albert Road, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours.

All persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of such lands who may have any grounds for objection to the execution of the said public work, also the said taking of such land or the stopping of the said street, must state their objections in writing at the office of the Council, as aforesaid, on or before the 30th day of August 1968.

FIRST SCHEDULE

All those pieces of land containing 1 acre and 25.3 perches, more or less, being part Lots 20, 21, and 34 of D.P. 8985, as shown coloured yellow on S.O. Plan 45898, certificate of title, No. 397/198, all these lands being situated in Block VIII, Titirangi S.D.

SECOND SCHEDULE

All those pieces of land containing 1 acre 1 rood 21.4 perches, more or less, being part Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, D.P. 20651, and Lots 30, 31, 32, and part Lots 33 and 34, D.P. 8985, situated in Block VIII, Titirangi S.D., coloured green on S.O. Plan 45898.

All these lands being situated in Halsey Drive between its junction with Canberra Avenue and some 25 chains west of that junction.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Whakatane County Council proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain work, namely, the realignment and widening of a public road, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the office of the said Council, situated at the Strand, Whakatane, and is open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing and send the same, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, to the clerk of the said Council at the said office.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given, pursuant to section 22 (1) (c) of the Public Works Act 1928, that the Lower Hutt City Council proposes, under the provisions of that Act and of the Town and Country Planning Act 1953 and, in particular, section 47 of that Act, to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto as being necessary for the proper development of the said lands in accordance with the operative district scheme of the City for uses permitted in a Commercial B zone under the code of ordinances; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken, marked T.P. 441 and thereon outlined in green, is deposited at the offices of the Council, Administration Buildings, Laings Road, Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection by all persons, without fee, during ordinary office hours.
