(5) This special order shall take effect on the 31st day of August 1968, provided, however, for all financial purposes it shall take effect on the 1st day of April 1969.
KAUKAPAKAPA RIDING
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast in line with the southern boundary of Section 16s, Motutara Settlement, in Block XI, Kumeu Survey District, and proceeding generally northerly and south-easterly along the generally western and north-eastern boundaries of the Waitemata County, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1957, p. 1295, to and across the mouth of the Kaipara River, to and north-easterly and south-easterly generally along the said county boundary to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of Lot 2, D.P. 25368, in Block XII, Waiwera Survey District; thence easterly generally along a right line to and along that south-eastern boundary, to and along the northern sides of Viponds and Whangaparaoa Roads, to and southerly generally along the eastern side of State Highway No. 1, to and along the western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 40992, in Block XI, Waiwera Survey District, and along the southern boundaries of that Lot 2 and Lots 3, 4, 5, and 6, D.P. 40992, to a point due north of the northernmost corner of Allotment 242, Okura Parish; thence due south across a public road to and southerly generally along the generally eastern side of East Coast Road, and continuing along the Waitemata County boundary in Blocks IV and VIII, Waitemata Survey District, to and south-westerly generally along a series of right-lines parallel to, and 250 links distant north-westerly from, the generally north-western sides of Sunset and Glendhu Roads, to the north-eastern side of a public road forming the south-western boundary of Lot 26, D.P. 2093, in Block VII, Waitemata Survey District; thence south-easterly along the north-eastern side of that road to the southernmost corner of the said Lot 26, and due south to the right bank of Hellyers Creek; thence westerly generally along the Waitemata County boundary, all the aforesaid county boundaries being as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1957, p. 1295, to and along the southern boundary of Lot 3, D.P. 29311, and of Allotment 450, Paremoremo Parish, to the eastern side of State Highway No. 18, in Block V, Waitemata Survey District; thence along a right line crossing that highway to and along the southern boundaries of Allotment 449, Paremoremo Parish, and Lot 7, D.P. 18638, and the southern and south-western boundaries of Lot 6, D.P. 18638, to the westernmost corner of that lot; thence south-westerly generally along a right line across the Old Great North Road to the northernmost corner of Lot 5, D.P. 48303, and along the north-western boundaries of that lot, of Lot 6, D.P. 48303, and of Lot 4, D.P. 40843, and along the last-mentioned boundary produced across State Highway No. 16 to the middle of the Kumeu River; thence up the middle of that river to a point in line with the middle of the public road forming the north-western boundary of Lots 2 and 1, D.P. 55541, and along a right line to and along the middle of that road, to and still south-westerly along the middle of the Swanson-Kumeu Road, crossing the intervening Newmarket-Opua Railway to and along the middle of Cottles Road, and along its production to the eastern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 44993, in Block X, Kumeu Survey District; thence southerly along that eastern boundary, to and westerly and then again southerly along the northern and western boundaries of Lot 3, D.P. 31213, to the south-western corner of that lot; thence along a right line to the eastern extremity of the northern end of the public road forming the western boundaries of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 54742, and along that northern end and the northern boundary of Lot 4, D.P. 25545, to and down the middle of the Mokoroa Stream to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Section 16s, Motutara Settlement, in Block XI, Kumeu Survey District; thence north-westerly along a right line to the eastern extremity of that boundary, and south-westerly generally along the eastern and southern boundaries of the said Section 16s and the last-mentioned boundary produced to the point of commencement, but excluding therefrom that part of the Kaipara River bounded by the line across its mouth, hereinbefore mentioned, and the line of mean high water along its banks, and also excluding the Helensville Borough as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1947, p. 157.
WHANGAPARAOA RIDING
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, Waitemata County, bounded by a line commencing at the southernmost corner of Allotment 72, Okura Parish, in Block IV, Waitemata Survey District, and proceeding northerly generally along the eastern boundary of the Kaukapakapa Riding, as hereinbefore described, to the sea coast in Block XII, Waiwera Survey District; thence easterly, westerly, and southerly generally along the Waitemata County boundary, as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1957, p. 1295, to the point of commencement.

Special Order Made by Wairarapa South County Council
Altering Riding Boundaries
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, I hereby publish the following special order made by the Wairarapa South County Council.
Dated at Wellington this 17th day of July 1968.

SPECIAL ORDER
RIDING ALTERATION—BELVEDERE, DALEFIELD, AND PARKVALE RIDINGS
In exercise of the powers conferred on it by the Counties Act 1956, the Wairarapa South County Council resolves, by way of special order, that the present division of the County of Wairarapa South, into five ridings, is to be revoked and, in lieu thereof, the said county shall be divided into four ridings by revoking the present Belvedere, Dalefield, and Parkvale Ridings and the division of the total area of these three ridings into two new ridings to be named Tararua Riding and Parkvale Riding respectively.
The electors of Tararua Riding shall elect three members to the Council and the electors of Parkvale Riding shall elect three members to the Council.
The alteration to be made in the number of ridings of the County of Wairarapa South shall take effect at the general election of councillors to be held in the month of October 1968, except in so far and to such extent as may be necessary for preparing any roll or otherwise providing for that election.
The boundaries of the Tararua and Parkvale Ridings shall be as delineated in the Schedule hereunder.
SCHEDULE
TARARUA RIDING
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being portion of the County of Wairarapa South, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle lines of the Wain-gawa River and No. 2 State Highway, in Block IV, Tiffin S.D., and proceeding generally south-westerly along the middle of No. 2 State Highway to and along the north-eastern, north-western, and south-western boundaries of the Borough of Carterton, as described in Gazette, 1921, p. 501, to and along the middle of No. 2 State Highway to the middle of the Waiohine River; thence generally north-westerly, north-easterly, and south-easterly along the boundaries of the County of Wairarapa South, as described in Gazette, 1968, p. 715, to the point of commencement.
PARKVALE RIDING
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being portion of the County of Wairarapa South, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the middle lines of the Wain-gawa River and No. 2 State Highway, in Block IV, Tiffin S.D., and proceeding generally south-westerly along the middle of No. 2 State Highway to and along the north-eastern, south-eastern, and south-western boundaries of the Borough of Carterton, as described in Gazette, 1921, p. 501, to and along the middle of No. 2 State Highway to the middle of the Waiohine River; thence down the middle of the Ruamahanga and Waingawa Rivers to the point of commencement.

Boundaries of City of Tauranga, Borough of Te Puke, County of Tauranga, and Te Puke Riding of County of Tauranga Defined
PURSUANT to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 and section 16 of the Counties Act 1956, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Tauranga, the Borough of Te Puke, the County of Tauranga, and the Te Puke Riding of the County of Tauranga; the previous boundaries having been altered by Orders in Council made on 25 March 1963, published in Gazette, 28 March 1963, No. 19, page 405; on 22 September 1965, published in Gazette, 30 September 1965, No. 56, page 1651; on 1 November 1967, published in Gazette, 2 November 1967, No. 69, page 1886; and on 25 March 1968, published in Gazette 28 March 1968, No. 17, page 496.
