NOTICE is hereby given that the land described in the First
and Second Schedules hereto has been acquired under the
Forests Act 1949 as permanent State forest land.
FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
MASTERTON COUNTY
Lot 5, D.P. 4845, being closed road; part Lot 2, D.P. 4845,
being part Sections 798, 800, 801, 802, and 803, Whareama
District; and parts Lot 2, Deeds Plan 446, being part Sections
355, 356, 756, 757, 758, 759, 761 762, and 763, Whareama
District, situated in Blocks VII, VIII, IX, X, and XI, Castle-
point Survey District: Area, 2983 acres 2 roods 13 perches,
more or less. All C.T. 743/20.
SECOND SCHEDULE
CLOSED road passing through Sections 758, 759, and 761,
Whareama District, situated in Blocks VIII, IX, and X,

1949.

in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at
Wellington, and thereon bordered blue (S.O. 7332).

Special Order Made by Waitemata County Council Altering
Riding Boundaries
PURSUANT to section 88 of the Counties Act 1956, I hereby
publish the following special order made by Waitemata County
Council.

SPECIAL ORDER
In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by section 23 of
the Counties Act 1956, the Waitemata County Council, by
special order, hereby resolves that—
(1) The number of ridings in the County of Waitemata
shall be reduced to seven (7).
(2) The Helensville, Kumeu, Wainui, and Albany Ridings
shall be abolished.
(3) The Whangaparaoa Riding shall be extended up to the
boundaries of the Orewa County Town, as may be declared
from time to time, and shall include that portion of the Wainui
Riding south of the Orewa County Town boundary to the
east of State Highway No. 1 and that portion of the Albany
Riding to the east of the East Coast Road.
(4) Those areas of the county formerly described as the
Helensville Riding, the Kumeu Riding, together with the
remaining portions of the former Wainui and Albany Ridings
shall be constituted as a new riding, to be named Kaukapakapa
Riding.

Specification
PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards
Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New
Zealand standard specification is being circulated:
Number and title of specification: D 9584, Methods of analysis
for spray-dried milks and whey.
All persons who may be affected by this specification and
who desire to comment thereon may, on application, obtain
copies on loan from the Standards Association of New Zea-
land, Private Bag, Wellington C.1.
The closing date for the receipt of comment is 16 August
1968.
