PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby authorises the Lyttelton Harbour Board to reclaim the area of 1 rood 33 perches from Purau Bay, being part of the endowment foreshore vested in Lyttelton Harbour Board by the Lyttelton Harbour Board Land Act 1913, and shown on plan M.D. 12694, deposited in the office of the Marine Department in Wellington.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. This order may be cited as the Otago Central Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1965, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with, and deemed part of, the Otago Central Electric Power Board Water Power and Electric Lines Licence 1965* (hereinafter referred to as the “principal order”).

  2. The principal order is hereby amended by deleting from clause 2 the words “One Mile Creek” and the figures “2½”, by deleting clause 5 (d), and by deleting clause 4 of the Second Schedule.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Orders in Council specified in the Schedule hereto, authorising the Tauranga Electric Power Board to use electric lines, by extending the duration of the said Orders in Council until the 20th day of October 1968.

PURSUANT to the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Local Agricultural Pest in Tokanui Pest Destruction District Declaration 1968.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The opossum (Trichosurus vulpecula) is hereby declared to be an agricultural pest of local importance in the Tokanui Pest Destruction District.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.


ORDER

  1. (1) This order may be cited as the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society Authorisation Order 1968.

(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the Gazette.

  1. The Hawke’s Bay Agricultural and Pastoral Society, duly incorporated under the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies Act 1908, is hereby authorised to sell the lands set out in the Schedule hereto, which were derived from the Crown and vested in the Society, in trust, as a reserve for an agricultural and pastoral showground, by Order in Council dated the 5th day of May 1886* (being the land firstly described in the Schedule hereto) and by Order in Council dated the 5th day of August 1955† (being the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto).

SCHEDULE

Firstly—All that parcel of land containing approximately 7 acres 3 roods, more or less, being Section 20, Block VIII, of the Heretaunga Survey District; the said parcel of land being more particularly defined by Section 20 on Survey Office Plan 1843, and being all the land comprised in interim certificate of title, Volume 87, folio 267 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).

Secondly—All that parcel of land containing approximately 3 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section 70, Block VIII, of the Heretaunga Survey District; the said parcel of land being more particularly defined by Section 70 on Survey Office Plan 2824, and being all the land comprised in Gazette notice 124084 (Hawke’s Bay Registry).
