RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATES

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Papakura Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $66,000, authorised to be raised by the Papakura Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing land and erecting accommodation for pensioners, the said Papakura Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of .0315c in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property of the Papakura Borough; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

Rural Water Supply No. 1 Completion Loan 1968, of $15,000

"THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Waipara County Council hereby resolves that, for the purpose of providing annual loan charges on a loan of $15,000, to be known as the Rural Water Supply No. 1 Completion Loan 1968, of $15,000, authorised to be raised by the Waipara County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting final costs involved with the No. 1 Rural Water Supply Scheme and incidental expenses in connection therewith, the said Waipara County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal point nought nought eight (.008) of a cent in the dollar on the capital value of all rateable property in the Waipara County; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 30 years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Taihape Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $36,000 authorised to be raised by the Taihape Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the development of land for housing, the said Taihape Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal one nine eight six cents (.1986c) in the dollar on the rateable value of all rateable property (on the basis of the unimproved value) in the Borough of Taihape; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off".

WANGANUI CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Municipal Chambers Supplementary Loan 1968, of $50,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wanganui City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the interest and principal repayments on a special loan to be known as the Municipal Chambers Supplementary Loan 1968, of $50,000, authorised to be raised by the Wanganui City Council under the above-mentioned Act and its amendments for the purpose of meeting part of the costs of building the new Municipal Chambers, the said Wanganui City Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.0143 of a cent in the $ upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Wanganui, comprising the whole of the City of Wanganui, the boundaries whereof are defined in the New Zealand Gazette of the 25th day of January 1968, No. 4, at p. 106; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 35 years from the date of the raising of the said loan, or until such loan is fully paid off.

HOROWHENUA ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Electric Reticulation Loan No. 17, 1968-$400,000

"In pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and its amendments, and of all other powers it thereunto enabling, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing for the repayment of the principal, interest, and other charges on the Board's Electric Reticulation Loan No. 17, 1968, of $400,000, authorised to be raised by the Horowhenua Electric Power Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of supplying and distributing electrical energy for the benefit of the Horowhenua Electric Power Board District, and for such purposes to do all or any of such matters and things which the Board is empowered to do by the Electric-Power Boards Act 1925 and its amendments, and by all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Horowhenua Electric Power Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 0.046 cents in the dollar ($1) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Horowhenua Electric Power Board District, such special rate to be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 15th day of May in each and every year, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully repaid".
