PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act 1954, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O R D E R

1. This order shall come into force on 1 April 1968.
2. The area described in the Schedule hereto shall be excluded from the City of Manukau and included in the Borough of Papakura.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing 28 acres approximately, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection, in Block XV, Otahuhu Survey District, of the southern side of Clevedon Road and the western side of Dominion Road, and proceeding southerly along that western side to and south-westerly and then north-westerly along the boundary of Papakura Borough as described in New Zealand Gazette, 1938, page 470, to and easterly along the southern side of Clevedon Road to the point of commencement.

New Plymouth United Urban Fire District Constituted

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Fire Services Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.

O R D E R

1. The area described in the Schedule hereto, comprising the area of the New Plymouth Urban Fire District and an area of Taranaki County adjoining thereto, is hereby constituted a united urban fire district by the name of the New Plymouth United Urban Fire District (hereinafter called “the said Fire District”).
2. The number of members to be elected to represent the Councils of the City of New Plymouth and the County of Taranaki on the Board of the said Fire District shall be three who shall be elected in the following manner:
   (a) Two members by resolution of the New Plymouth City Council.
