Land Surveyors' Examination, August-September 1968—
Australia and New Zealand
It is hereby notified for general information, that the Survey
Board, in conjunction with the Australian Surveyors' Boards,
will conduct an examination of candidates for registration as
surveyors, commencing at 9 a.m., on Monday, 12 August 1968.
Candidates are notified that their applications, on the proper
form, must reach the Secretary of the Board not later than
Friday, 12 July 1968, and that the examination fee must be
paid at the same time to the Secretary, from whom application
forms and other particulars may be obtained.
Candidates presenting themselves for examination in any
written subject or subjects, may present themselves for examination at any Chief Surveyor's Office, or at the office of the
District Surveyor, at Rotorua or Whangarei, or as otherwise
directed.
The oral and practical portion of the examination commences at 8.45 a.m., 23 September 1968, and all candidates
must sit in Wellington. Applications, on the proper forms,
must reach the Secretary of the Board not later than Friday,
23 August 1968. Plans for this portion of the examination, the
certificate, and other evidence required by regulation No. 24
of the Survey Examination Regulations 1962, together with
the results of stellar observations and computations, must
reach the Secretary not later than Friday, 13 September 1968.

Unclaimed Property—Notice of Election by the Public Trustee
to Become Manager Under Public Trust Office Act 1957,
Part V
WHEREAS William Brooker, of Whangarei, in New Zealand,
settler, is the owner of the property mentioned in the
Schedule hereto; and whereas after due inquiry the Public
Trustee is satisfied that the said William Brooker is dead but
it is not known whether he has any administrator in New
Zealand with authority to take possession of and administer
the property; and whereas the gross value of the said property
(as estimated by the Public Trustee) does not exceed $4,000
and, for the purposes of subsection (2) of section 80 of the
Public Trust Office Act 1957, the Public Trustee is satisfied
that it is advisable that he should become the manager of the
said property; now, therefore, the Public Trustee in exercise
of the authority conferred upon him by the said subsection
(2), hereby elects to be manager of the said property under
Part V of the said Act.
SCHEDULE
ALL that piece of land situated in the Borough of Whangarei
containing 9 decimal 2 perches, more or less, being parts of
Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5 on Deeds Plan number W. 21 and being
part of Allotment 2 of the Parish of Whangarei and being
the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate
of title, Volume 525, folio 188, North Auckland Registry,
subject to the limitations as to title and parcels and subject
also to the rights of way created or reserved by Deeds
numbers 161331, 162396, 162397, and 165021.

Huntly Milk Delivery Scheme 1968
PURSUANT to the Milk Regulations 1956*, the New Zealand
Milk Board hereby gives notice as follows:
- This scheme may be cited as the Huntly Milk Delivery
Scheme 1968. - The district comprising the Borough of Huntly is hereby
declared a zoning area. - No person shall deliver milk in the zoning area defined
in clause 2 hereto in pursuance of a contract of sale except
pursuant to a licence or other permit given by the New
Zealand Milk Board. - This scheme shall come into force on the 1st day of July

Final Prices for Cheese Intended for Export
PURSUANT to the Dairy Board Act 1961, the New Zealand
Dairy Board has fixed the final prices to be paid for all cheese
manufactured from milk or cream delivered to a dairy
factory in the season commencing on the 1st day of June
1967, and acquired by the New Zealand Dairy Board, pursuant
to Part II of the said Act, at the several prices and upon the
terms, stipulations, and conditions following, that is to say:
- In the case of New Zealand waxed cheddar cheese to
which is assigned one or other of the following respective
grades and which is allotted points in grading within the
range of the following respective grade points under the said
regulations—
(a) For “Finest” grade, 94 points or over, the price of
18.09 cents per pound:
(b) For “Finest” grade, 93 points or over but under 94
points, the price of 17.89 cents per pound:
(c) For “First” grade, 92 points or over but under 93
points, the basic price of 17.04 cents per pound:
(d) For “First” grade, 91 points or over but under 92
points, the price of 16.84 cents per pound:
(e) For “Graded”, 88 points or over but under 91 points,
the price of 15.99 cents per pound:
(f) For “Seconds”, 80 points or over but under 88 points,
the price of 13.94 cents per pound. - The prices set out in paragraph 1, Gazette notice No. 37,
15 June 1967, page 1036, are amended accordingly.
