HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 37 of the Public Works Amendment Act 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
(a) It is hereby authorised that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land held primarily for the development of water power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme) be applied also for recreation purposes which shall be a secondary use of the said land.
(b) Part II of the Reserves and Domain Act 1953 shall apply to the said land.
(c) The control and management of the said land is hereby vested in the Matamata County Council.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of June 1968
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto as a Maori reservation, as an additional area for the Te Kotahitanga Marae site, for the use, benefit, and enjoyment of the peoples of the Ngatiwhakaeke, Ngatitautahi, Ngatire, Matarahurahu, Te Uriohua, Te Whanautara, Te Mahurehure, Te Popoto and Ngatirahia Hapus.

The Waitaki North Cemetery Closing Order 1968

At the Government House at Wellington this 27th day of May 1968

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Waitaki North Cemetery Closing Order 1968.
-
It is hereby directed that the Waitaki North Cemetery, being the area described in the Schedule hereto, shall be closed and burials therein discontinued after the 31st day of December 1968.

As from the 31st day of December 1968 the control and management of the closed Waitaki North Cemetery shall vest in the Waimate County Council.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District containing 5 acres, more or less, being Reserve 2914, situated in Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District (S.O. Plan 4770).

Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963, Amendment No. 2

At the Government House at Wellington this 4th day of June 1968
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
(1) This order may be cited as the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Thames Valley Electric Power Board Electric Lines Licence 1963* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”).
(2) The principal order is hereby amended by deleting subclause (a) of clause 2 of the Schedule thereto and substituting the following:
“(a) A line running in a southerly direction through the Thames Branch Railway Reserve; thence easterly along Williamson Street and generally southerly along Queen Street and Jellicoe Crescent to the southern boundary of the Borough of Thames, as the said line is more particularly shown by means of a broken red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 744 deposited in the office of the New Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.”
(3) The principal order is hereby further amended by deleting subclause (c) of clause 3 of the Schedule thereto, as amended by Order in Council dated the 18th day of September 1963, and printed in the Gazette on the 19th day of the same month at page 1451, and substituting the following:
“(c) A line commencing at a point on the western boundary of the Te Aroha Borough Council Reservoir Reserve and proceeding in a generally easterly direction to a point approximately 32 chains from the point of commencement and from thence two lines, one in an easterly direction and one in a south-easterly direction to the eastern boundary of that reserve as the said lines are more particularly shown by means of red lines on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 745, deposited as aforesaid.”
(4) The principal order is hereby further amended by adding to the Schedule thereto the following:
“(4) A line commencing from a point on the western boundary of the Board’s area in Block V, Coromandel Survey District, and proceeding in a south-westerly direction to Whanganui Island, as the said line is more particularly shown by means of a broken red line on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 764, deposited as aforesaid.
(5) Lines and associated electric works for the supply of electrical energy, by the systems of supply described in the principal order, on and about Whanganui Island.”
