TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD AND TO STOP ROAD

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, the construction of a road and for the purposes of that public work the land described in the First Schedule hereto is required to be taken and the portion of the road described in the Second Schedule hereto are required to be stopped. And notice is further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken and the portions of the road required to be stopped is deposited in the office of the Tauranga County Council, Barke's Corner, Cameron Road, Tauranga, and is there open for inspection, that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land or by the stopping of the said portions of road should if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works or the taking of the said land or by the stopping of the said portions of road, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Tauranga County Council at Tauranga, and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the Council meeting at which the hearing will be held.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Land Purchase Loan No. 15—$61,000 (1968)

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $61,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing property within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought three eight four cents (.00384c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Roading Loan 1968—$600,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $600,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purposes of constructing roads and footpaths and associated works within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four one eight cents (.0418c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau, and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Opononi Development Loan 1966, $80,000—Issue of $20,000

PURSUANT to the powers contained in the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Hokianga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Hokianga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of fully developing and subdividing an area of 65 acres at Opononi, the said Hokianga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.111 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property in the County of Hokianga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Hokianga County Council held on Wednesday, 29 May 1968.

HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Wairupe Reclamation Loan 1968—$5,500

PURSUANT to the powers contained in the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Hokianga County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $5,500 authorised to be raised by the Hokianga County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of installing a culvert and floodgate to enable the reclamation of some 200 acres of farmable land at the mouth of the Wairupe Creek, the said Hokianga County Council hereby makes a special rate of 6.59 cents in the dollar upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the Wairupe special rating area within the Kohukohu Riding of the County of Hokianga; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The above resolution was duly passed at a properly constituted meeting of the Hokianga County Council held on Wednesday, 29 May 1968.
