Notice of Intention to Acquire the Freehold Estate in the Land on Which the Original Fire Station Stands for Fire Station Purposes in Block IV, Heretaunga Survey District, City of Napier

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928, to execute a certain public work, namely, to acquire the freehold estate in the land on which the original fire station stands for fire station purposes: and for the purpose of that public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post office at Napier and is there open for inspection; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any objections to the taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection, within 40 days of the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington; and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of hearing.

The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1968

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Minister of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 2, 1968.
2. The road specified in the Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a 40-miles an hour speed limit area for the purposes of regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956*.
3. The Warrant under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and regulation 27 of the Traffic Regulations 1956* dated the 3rd day of October 1966† which relates to No. 1 State Highway at Islington and Templeton in Paparua County is hereby revoked.

SITUATED within Paparua County at Templeton and Islington.
No. 1 State Highway (Awanui-Bluff) (from a point 19 chains measured north-easterly generally along the said highway from Marshes Road to a point 15 chains measured south-westerly generally along the said State highway from Trents Road).

Revocation of Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for police purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.
