HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice of the Executive Council, hereby amends the Order in Council dated the 13th day of December 1961 and published in Gazette, 14 December 1961, No. 80, page 1915, by revoking the appointment of the Senior Pedologist, Soil Bureau, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Palmerston North, to the Manawatu Catchment Board and hereby appoints the Director, Grasslands Division, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Palmerston North, to be a member of the Manawatu Catchment Board.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby—
(a) Declares the piece of road described in the Schedule hereto to be a Government road, and
(b) Stops the said road.

ALL that piece of road containing 1 rood 15 perches situated in Block VII, Otanake Survey District, formerly being part Pukenui 1b 1 Block; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 348 (S.O. 39948), deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow, edged yellow.

The Central Canterbury Electric Power District Order 1965, Amendment No. 2

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Electric Power Boards Act 1925, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
This order may be cited as the Central Canterbury Electric Power District Order 1965 Amendment No. 2 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Central Canterbury Electric Power District Order 1965* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”).
-
This order shall come into force on the date of the next general election of the representatives of the constituent districts of the Central Canterbury Electric Power District.
-
Sockburn County Town shall be a separate constituent district of the said electric power district.
-
Hornby County Town shall be a separate constituent district of the said electric power district.
-
The Yaldhurst, Islington, West Melton, Templeton, Prebbleton, Ladbrooks, Broadfield, and Tai Tapu ridings of Paparua County and that part of the Halswell Rural riding of the said County which is within the said electric power district shall together be a separate constituent district of the said electric power district.

The Central Canterbury Electric Power District Order 1965, Amendment No. 1, published in the Gazette on the 29th day of July 1965 at page 1205 is hereby revoked.

The principal order is amended by deleting the Second Schedule thereto and substituting the following:

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
(1) This order may be cited as the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959, Amendment No. 4, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Christchurch City Council Electric Lines Licence 1959* (hereinafter referred to as “the principal order”).
(2) The principal order is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph to the First Schedule thereto:
“7. A line commencing at a point off Scruttons Road and proceeding in a south-easterly direction across the intersection of Martindale and Bridle Path Road to the eastern boundary of the Heathcote County Council’s area of supply, as the said line is more particularly shown coloured blue on the plan marked N.Z.E.D. 753 and deposited as aforesaid.”
