RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Renewal Loan 1968—$368,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $368,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity those portions of the following loans which mature on the respective dates shown—

$368,000

within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five five cents (.055c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan being a period of 20 years or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I, George Stanley Davies, Acting Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 9th day of May 1968.

GLEN EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Glen Eden Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a supplementary loan of $10,200 authorised to be raised by the Glen Eden Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completion of erection of pensioner flats, the said Glen Eden Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.013005 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Glen Eden; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty (30) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Glen Eden Borough Council held on the 15th day of May 1968.

HAWERA COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Rural Housing Loan No. 4, 1967—$30,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Hawera County Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Hawera County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers under the Rural Housing Act 1939, the said Hawera County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four nought three of a cent (.0403c) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the County of Hawera; and

that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 21st day of August in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I hereby certify that the above is a true and correct copy of a resolution passed by the Hawera County Council on the 14th day of May 1968.

RANGIORA BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Street Works Redemption Loan 1968—$9,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of paying the annual charges on a loan of $9,000 being the Street Works Redemption Loan 1968 of $9,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangiora Borough Council under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of repaying on maturity that portion of the Street Works Loan 1958—$32,000 which matures on 31 May 1968, the Rangiora Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five four cents in the dollar (.054c in $) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the whole of the borough of Rangiora; and that such special rate be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is paid off.”

The above resolution was passed at a meeting of the Rangiora Borough Council held on 6 May 1968.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

The Wellington City Regent Street Pensioners’ Flats Additional Loan 1968 of $24,000

The following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 15th day of May 1968:

“Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-four thousand dollars ($24,000) to be known as the Wellington City Regent Street Pensioners’ Flats Additional Loan 1968 of $24,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refunding to District Fund Account the sum expended and to be expended from that account in erecting flats for pensioners at Regent Street, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought one cents (.001c) in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
