ALL those pieces of land containing (i) one rood and seven perches (1r. 7p.) passing through part of Block 36, Patangata Crown Grant District, situated in Block 1, Oero Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 95, folio 248, which land is more particularly shown coloured green on Survey Office Plan No. 5792 and (ii) ten decimal six perches (10.6p.) adjoining Section 10 and part of Block 36, Patangata Crown Grant District, situated in Block 1, Oero Survey District, and being part of the land in certificates of title, H.B. Volume 95, folio 248, and H.B. Volume 145, folio 110, which land is more particularly shown coloured green on Survey Office Plan No. 5792.

WAIHEMO COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, the Waihemo County Council gives notice:

That it proposes to execute a public work, namely, the laying out and formation of Walsh Road within the Waihemo County and to take for that work those parts of Section 48, Block IX, Moeraki District, containing 1 acre 2 roods 19 poles which are coloured blue on Survey Office Plan 15851. The land required lies within the fenced portion of Walsh Road or is immediately adjacent to Walsh Road where it intersects Mr J. C. Wilson’s farm. A copy of the plan is open for inspection at the offices of the County, at Tiverton Street, Palmerston.

Every person affected by the taking is required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the taking of the land, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection to the Waihemo County Council at Palmerston not later than the 8th day of July 1968.

If any objection is made in accordance with the preceding paragraph, a public hearing will be held unless the objector otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT 1928
PURSUANT to section 27 of the Noxious Weeds Act 1950, notice is hereby given that the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Horowhenua require to take the lands described in the Schedule hereto. The lands are required for the purpose of a public work, namely, for the purpose of clearing the lands of noxious weeds.
Notice is hereby given that a plan of the said lands is open for inspection at the offices of the Horowhenua County Council, Bath Street, Levin. Every person affected by such taking is hereby required to set forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the execution of such work or to the taking of the lands, not being an objection to the amount or payment of compensation, and to send the written objection within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the said County at the Council Chambers, Bath Street, Levin. If any objection is made in accordance with the provisions of section 22 (1) (d) of the Public Works Act 1928, a public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

All the said lands being situate in the district between Otaki and Manakau in the said County of Horowhenua.

BRUCE COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
IN the matter of the Public Works Act 1928 and of the Counties Act 1956, notice is hereby given that it is proposed under the provisions of the above Acts to execute certain public works, namely, the construction of roads, and for the purpose of those public works the lands described in the Schedules hereto are required to be taken for road, or for the purpose of a road: And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the County Office at Milton, and are there open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours; that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or by the taking of the said lands should, if they have any objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said lands, not being objections to the amount or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing and send such written objection within 40 days from the date of the first publication of this notice, namely, the 17th day of May 1968, to the County Clerk at Milton; and that if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing of the objection will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and that each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

OTAGO LAND REGISTRY
Lands Required for Road
(1) All that parcel of land shown coloured sepia on S.O. Plan 13961 and being part Section 23A, Block I, Clarendon Survey District, containing 1 acre 2 roods 20 poles, and being part of the land comprised in Deeds Index B 624, Otago Land Registry. This land is in use as part of the Taieri Ferry Road and extends from about 10 chains north-west of Mrs Bungard’s house to about 10 chains south-west of it at the boundary gate.
(2) Those parcels of land shown coloured blue on S.O. Plan 16542 and being parts Section 219, Block XXVII, Tokomairiro Survey District, containing 2 roods 33.5 poles and containing 4.1 poles, and being parts of the land comprised in deeds index R 733, Otago Land Registry. These two parcels of land are parts of a proposed road surveyed in 1886 and shown on S.O. Plan 11015, but not legalised or formed. These parcels are required for the portion of Fletcher Road recently formed through the land owned by Mr N. S. Allison.

Those parcels of land shown coloured blue, edged blue, on S.O. Plan 16542, being part Section 219 containing 1.4 poles; being part Section 219 containing 15.5 poles; and being part Sections 219 and 220 containing 2 roods 36.5 poles; all in Block XXVII, Tokomairiro Survey District, and being parts of the land comprised in deeds index, R 733, Otago Land Registry. These three parcels of land are parts of a proposed road surveyed in 1886 and shown on S.O. Plan 11015, but not legalised or formed. These parcels adjoin the portion of Fletcher Road recently formed through the land owned by Mr N. S. Allison.
