NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND
In the matter of the Public Works Act 1928, public notice is
hereby given by the Otorohanga County Council that it is
proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928
to take for road the portions of land described in the First
Schedule hereto and to take for the use, convenience, or enjoy-
ment of a road the portions of land described in the Second
Schedule hereto; and notice is hereby further given that a plan
showing the said pieces of land is on view and open for
inspection at the office of the Council at the address set out
below during ordinary business hours and that every person
affected by the taking of the said pieces of land should set
forth in writing any objection he may wish to make to the
taking of the said pieces of land, not being an objection to
the amount of compensation, and send the written objection
within 40 days from the first publication of this notice to the
County Clerk, Otorohanga County Council, Council Cham-
bers, Maniapoto Street, Otorohanga.

PATANGATA COUNTY COUNCIL
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR ROAD
Notice is hereby given that the Patangata County Council
proposes, under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1928
and its amendments, to execute a certain public work, namely,
the construction of a road and for the purposes of that public
work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required
to be taken, such lands being at Te Kura, Otane. Notice is
hereby further given that the plan showing the lands so required
to be taken is deposited in the offices of the Patangata County
Council, Northumberland Street, Waipukurau, and is there
open for inspection, without fee, during ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or by the taking of the said land, may, if they have any
objection to the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of the said land, not being objections to the amount
or payment of compensation, set forth the same in writing
and send the written objection to the Patangata County Council
at the above address by the 3rd day of July 1968.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a
public hearing of the objection will be held unless the objector
otherwise requires and each objector will be advised of the
time and place of the hearing.
SCHEDULE
ALL those pieces of land containing one rood thirty-seven
decimal six perches (1r. 37.6p.) being parts of Block 36,
Patangata Crown Grant District, situated in Block 1, Oero
Survey District, and being part of the land in certificate
of title, H.B. Volume 95, folio 248, which land is more parti-
cularly shown coloured blue on Survey Office Plan No. 5792.
NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO STOP PORTIONS OF ROAD
Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 148 of the Public
Works Act 1928, that it is proposed to stop those portions
of road described in the Schedule hereto, such portions being
part of the Te Kura Road, Otane.
A notice is hereby further given that the plan showing
the portions of road proposed to be stopped is deposited in
the office of the Patangata County Council, Northumberland
Street, Waipukurau, and is there open for inspection, without
fee, during ordinary office hours.
All persons objecting to the proposal to stop the portions
of road must lodge their objection in writing at the office
of the Patangata County Council on or before the 3rd day of
July 1968.
If any objection is made in accordance with this notice a
public meeting of the ratepayers of the county will be called
by public notice at a time and place to be specified in the
notice.
