Allocating Land Taken for Railway Purposes near Johnstone to the purposes of a Road

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to section 226 of the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the Gazette, become a road and that the said road shall be under the control of the Tuapeka County Council and shall be maintained by the said Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
