RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Tokoroa Memorial Hall Redemption Loan 1968—$6,000

IN pursuance and exercises of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Matamata County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of six thousand dollars ($6,000) authorised to be raised by the Matamata County Council for the purpose of repaying on maturity the portion of the Tokoroa Memorial Hall Loan, 1960—£40,000, 3rd issue (Part £5,000), which matures on 1 May 1968, the said Matamata County Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought two four nine cents (0.00249c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value (on the basis of capital value) of all rateable property in the Tokoroa Memorial Hall Special Rating Area in the County of Matamata; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of May and the 15th day of November in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of fourteen (14) years or until the loan is paid off."

The foregoing resolution was passed at a duly constituted meeting of the Matamata County Council held on the 14th day of March 1968.

WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wanganui County Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Wanganui County Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of meeting the Council's share of the cost of renewing bridges in the county, the said Wanganui County Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.02463 cents in the $1 on the capital rateable value of the County of Wanganui; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 20 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RANGITIKEI CATCHMENT BOARD

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Plant Loan 1967—$13,000

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act 1941, and all other powers and authorities it enabling, the Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $13,000 authorised to be raised by the Rangitikei Catchment Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing five new light trucks, the said Rangitikei Catchment Board hereby makes a special rate of point nought nought two seven (.0027) cents in the dollar upon the rateable capital value of all rateable property of the Rangitikei Catchment District and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of six (6) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Footpath Loan 1967—$20,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $20,000 authorised to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council under the provisions of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 for the purpose of constructing and reconstructing footpaths, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought five three cents in the dollar (.053c in $) upon the rateable value (on the basis of unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Feilding; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Special Renewal Loan No. 1, 1968—$76,000

"THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of $76,000, to be known as the Special Renewal Loan No. 1, 1968, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of refunding District Fund Account for moneys expended in meeting those portions of the Western Extension Loan No. 2, 1954—$46,000, the Stormwater Drainage Loan 1954—$197,200, the Sewer and Drainage Loan 1954—$186,000, the Reservoir Loan 1960—$58,000, and the Renewal Loan 1962—£41,400 which matured on 1 March 1967, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought four two eight seven cents (.04287) in the dollar upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate, during the currency of the said loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 13 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."

"THAT pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Timaru City Council hereby resolves as follows:

That, for the purpose of providing the annual charge on the loan of $34,000, to be known as the Abattoir Reconstruction Loan No. 2, 1967, authorised to be raised by the Timaru City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the reconstruction of the municipal abattoir commenced under the Abattoir Reconstruction Loan 1965—£88,000, the said Timaru City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought one seven six eight cents in the dollar (.01768) upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the City of Timaru; and that the said special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of the said loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of 20 years, or until such loan is fully paid off."
