RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Pahiatua Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of thirteen thousand dollars ($13,000) authorised to be raised by the Pahiatua Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for pensioner flats, the said Pahiatua Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought eight one cents in the dollar (.081c in the $) upon the rateable value, being the unimproved value, of all rateable property of the Borough of Pahiatua, comprising the whole of the Borough of Pahiatua; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of March 1968:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of twenty-nine thousand dollars ($29,000) to be known as the Wellington City Park Road — Tahi Street Housing Additional Loan 1967 of $29,000 authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of completing the purpose for which Park Road — Tahi Street Housing Loan 1964, $200,000 was sanctioned, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought one five (.0015) of a cent in the dollar on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

THE following resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Wellington City Council held on the 4th day of March 1968:

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Wellington City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of one hundred and eight thousand dollars ($108,000), to be known as The Wellington City Housing (Rex Street) Loan 1967 of $108,000, authorised to be raised by the Wellington City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of erecting accommodation for old people, the Wellington City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought four (.004) cents in the dollar

on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property within the whole of the City of Wellington; and that the said special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan and shall be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each year during the currency of the said loan, being a period of forty (40) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

Dunedin Airport Runway Loan, 1967 of $80,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges of a loan of $80,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of financing the Council’s proportion of the cost of resurfacing the runway at Dunedin Airport, the Dunedin City Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.0111 of a cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of twenty-five (25) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”
