DUINEDIN DRAINAGE AND SEWERAGE BOARD RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE Renewal Loan 1968 of $30,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1965, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $30,000 authorised to be raised by the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of repaying on maturity portion of the Drainage Extension Loan 1954, which matures on 1st July 1968, the said Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby makes a special rate of 0.0117 of a cent in the dollar ($) upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the Board's district, comprising the whole of the City of Dunedin and the Borough of St. Kilda; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of five (5) years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

ROXBURGH BOROUGH COUNCIL RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE Fire Brigade Loan (No. 2) 1967, $8,000

Pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, the Roxburgh Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:

"That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $8,000 authorised to be raised by the Roxburgh Borough Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing a new fire appliance, the said Roxburgh Borough Council hereby makes a special rate of 0.8308 of a cent in the dollar upon the rateable value (upon the basis of annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Roxburgh, comprising the whole of the Borough of Roxburgh; and that the special rate be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be repayable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 15 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a resolution passed by the Roxburgh Borough Council at a meeting held on 8 March 1968.

BOROUGH OF MOUNT ROSKILL SPECIAL ORDER Consolidation of Special Rates NOTICE is hereby given that the following resolution intended to operate as a special order, was passed at a special meeting of the Mount Roskill Borough Council convened for that purpose and held on the 6th day of February 1968 and was confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Mount Roskill Borough Council held in the Municipal Chambers, Three Kings, Mount Roskill, at 7.35 p.m. on Tuesday, 5 March 1968.

Resolution "That, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 108A of the Municipal Corporations Act 1954 as enacted by section 10 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act 1959 and all other powers enabling it in that behalf, the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby resolves, by way of special order, that instead of levying the special rates specified in the Schedule hereto, to make a uniform consolidated special rate of one decimal nine three two five cents (1.9325c) in the dollar ($) on all rateable property within the Borough of Mount Roskill, and the same is hereby made an annually recurring rate for the purpose of paying the annual charges plus ten percent (10%) thereof, payable in respect of the loans secured by those special rates.

And the Mount Roskill Borough Council hereby further resolves that the consolidated special rate shall be payable in one sum on the 1st day of April in each year at the Council Chambers, corner Three Kings and Mount Albert Roads, Mount Roskill to George Walter Stephenson or at such other place, or to such other person for the time being authorised by Council.
