RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Redemption Loan No. 1, 1968
I hereby certify that the following is a correct copy of
resolution No. 4588/67 passed at the ordinary meeting of
Council held on 18 December 1967:
"That, whereas the sum of $8,100 borrowed by the
Waitemata County Council under the Te Atatu Sewerage
Loan 1962, $440,000 is due and payable on the 15th day of
April 1968, and whereas the amount repaid in respect of
the said loan amounts to only $700 and the sum of $7,400 is
required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata County
Council in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf
by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 hereby resolves:
(a) To borrow the sum of $7,400 for the purpose of
repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $7,400 shall be payable on the 15th
day of April 1993 or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council.
(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 1,
1968—$7,400, the said Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 0.0067c in the dollar on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
within the Te Atatu Riding; and that such special
rate shall be an annually recurring rate through the
currency of the loan and payable yearly on the 1st
day of June each year during the currency of the
loan, being a period of 25 years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.
(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution."

I hereby certify that the following is a correct copy of
resolution No. 4589/67 passed at the ordinary meeting of
Council held on 18 December 1967:
"That, whereas the sum of $16,800 borrowed by the
Waitemata County Council under the Titirangi and Waikumete
'A' Sewerage Loan 1962, $606,000 is due and payable on the
15th day of April 1968, and whereas the amount repaid in
respect of the said loan amounts to only $1,500 and the sum
of $15,300 is required to pay for the said loan, the Waitemata
County Council in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 hereby
resolves:
(a) To borrow the sum of $15,300 for the purpose of
repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $15,300 shall be payable on the 15th
day of April 1993 or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council.
(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 2,
1968—$15,300, the said Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 0.0404c in the dollar on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
within that portion of the Titirangi County Town
included within the inner area of the Auckland
Metropolitan Drainage Board and the Titirangi Urban
Drainage Area and that portion of the Waikumete
Riding Drainage Area designated 'A' by special order
dated 7 August 1962; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate through the currency of
the loan and payable yearly on the 1st day of June
each year during the currency of the loan, being a
period of 25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
(d) That authority be granted to gazette this resolution."

Waitemata County Council under the Waikumete 'B' and
Waipareira 'A' Sewerage Loan 1962, $314,000 is due and
payable on the 15th day of April 1968, and whereas
the amount repaid in respect of the said loan amounts to $900
and the sum of $9,500 is required to pay for the said loan,
the Waitemata County Council in exercise of the powers
vested in it in that behalf by the Local Authorities Loans
Act 1956 hereby resolves:
(a) To borrow the sum of $9,500 for the purpose of
repaying the said loan.
(b) That the sum of $9,500 shall be payable on the 15th
day of April 1993 or such earlier date as may be
determined by Council.
(c) That, for the purpose of providing interest, principal,
and other charges on the Redemption Loan No. 3,
1968—$9,500, the said Council hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 0.0562c in the dollar on the
rateable unimproved value of all rateable property
within that portion of the Waikumete Riding Urban
Drainage Area designated 'B' and that portion of
the Waipareira Riding Urban Drainage Area
designated 'A' by special order dated 7 August 1962;
and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate through the currency of the loan
and payable yearly on the 1st day of June each year
during the currency of the loan, being a period of
25 years, or until the loan is fully paid off."

BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE
Streets Redemption Loan 1968: $24,800
PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the
Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:
"That, pursuant to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
the Onehunga Borough Council hereby resolves that for the
purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $24,800
authorised to be raised by the Onehunga Borough Council
under the above-mentioned Act for repayment on maturity
of that portion of the Streets and Footpaths Improvement
Loan 1955: $500,000 as will mature on 21 April 1968, the
said Onehunga Borough Council hereby makes a special rate
of 0.02656 cents in the dollar upon the rateable value of all
rateable property of the Borough of Onehunga; and that the
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of the loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 21st
day of October and the 21st day of April in each and every
year during the currency of the loan, being a period of 10
years, or until the loan is fully paid off."
The foregoing resolution was passed by the Onehunga
Borough Council at a meeting held on Monday, 4 March
1968.
