RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Bulk Water Supply Loan No. 17, 1967—$500,000: 1st Issue $360,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, the Auckland Regional Authority has resolved to the following effect:

“That, for the purpose of providing the annual charges on a loan of $360,000 authorised to be raised by the Auckland Regional Authority under the above-mentioned Acts for the purpose of meeting costs and expenses of and incidental to the continued development of the Hunua catchment of the bulk water supply system, the Auckland Regional Authority hereby makes a special rate of the several amounts in the dollar set out in the fourth column of the Schedule hereto on the rateable values set against such amounts respectively in the third column of such Schedule of all rateable property of the local authorities listed in the first column of such Schedule and set out against such amounts and rateable values respectively; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan, which shall at the lender’s option be for periods of six, 10, or 20 years from 1 March 1968, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

SPECIAL ORDER

Bulk Water Loan No. 16, 1967—$1,000,000: 1st Issue $200,000

THE Auckland Regional Authority, in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 42, and in pursuance of the authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, and in exercise of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, doth hereby resolve, by special resolution intended to operate as a special order, to borrow the sum of $200,000 (two hundred thousand dollars) as a special loan to be known as Bulk Water Loan No. 16, 1967—$1,000,000: 1st Issue $200,000 for the purpose of meeting the costs of and incidental to the upgrading of the northern and western transmission systems of the bulk water supply.

The foregoing special order was made by way of a special resolution passed at a special meeting of the Authority held on the 18th day of December 1967. It was publicly notified in the Auckland Star on the 21st day of December 1967 and the 4th day of January 1968 and was confirmed at the ordinary meeting of the Authority held on the 19th day of February 1968.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereunto affixed this 19th day of February 1968.

CITY OF MANUKAU

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE

Loans: Land Purchase Loan No. 10, 1967—$200,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $200,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of purchasing properties and the cost of raising the loan within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought two five four cents (.0254c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of the loan and be payable yearly on the 1st day of April in each and every year during the currency of the loan, being a period of thirty-five (35) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I, Ronald Wood, Town Clerk of the Manukau City Council, hereby certify that the above resolution was duly passed at a meeting of the Manukau City Council held on the 29th day of February 1968.

Loans: Rural Housing Loan 1967—$40,000

PURSUANT to the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 the Manukau City Council hereby resolves as follows:

“That, for the purposes of providing the annual charges on a loan of $40,000 authorised to be raised by the Manukau City Council under the above-mentioned Act for the purpose of making advances to farmers for the purpose of erecting dwellings, in terms of the Rural Housing Act 1939, within the City of Manukau, the said Manukau City Council hereby makes a special rate of decimal nought nought five nine cents (.0059c) in the dollar ($) upon the rateable unimproved value of all rateable property of the City of Manukau; and that the special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
