Pursuant to section 3 of the Local Authorities Loans Act
1956 (as amended by section 3 (1) of the Local Authorities
Loans Amendment Act 1967), the undersigned Assistant Secretary
to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated to the
Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby
consents to the borrowing by the local authorities mentioned
in the Schedule hereto of the whole or any part of the respective
amounts specified in that Schedule.

Boundaries of City of Takapuna, Borough of Devonport, and Borough of Northcote, Defined

Pursuant to section 26 of the Municipal Corporations Act
1954, the Secretary for Internal Affairs hereby defines, as set
out in the Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the City of Takapuna,
the Borough of Devonport, and the Borough of Northcote; the previous
boundaries having been altered by Orders in Council made on 17 August 1966,
and published in Gazette, 18 August 1966, No. 49, page 1302; and on 11 October
1967, and published in Gazette, 12 October 1967, No. 64, page 1770.

BOUNDARIES OF CITY OF TAKAPUNA

All that area of approximately 3,282 acres in the North Auckland Land District,
bounded by a line commencing at a point on the line of mean high water along the shores
of the Hauraki Gulf in Block VIII, Waitemata Survey District, being the south-eastern
corner of Lot 3, D.P. 44038, and proceeding southerly generally along the said line of
mean high water, crossing the mouth of the Wairau Creek, to a point in Block VI,
Rangitoto Survey District, being the northernmost corner of Lot 17, D.P. 7449;
then westerly generally along the northern boundary of that lot and along a right line
across Hamana Street to the northernmost corner of Lot 18, along the northern
