Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for municipal purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation Over Part of a Reserve Specifying That the Land Shall be Held by the Balclutha Borough Council in Fee Simple and How the Value Thereof Shall be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves and Domains Act 1953, the Minister of Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for recreational purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto and further declares that the said land shall be held by the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the Borough of Balclutha in fee simple provided that a sum equal to the current market value of the said land is paid by the Council into its reserves account, such moneys to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other recreation reserves under the control of the Council or in or towards the purchase of other land for recreation purposes.

The Road Classification (Matamata County) Notice 1968

PURSUANT to regulation 3 of the Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1955*, the Commissioner of Transport hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Matamata County) Notice 1968.

  2. The Matamata County Council’s proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule hereto is hereby approved.

  3. So much of the Warrant dated the 1st day of June 1950† as relates to the classification of the roads described in the Schedule hereto is hereby revoked.

Notice to Make Returns of Land Under the Land and Income Tax Act 1954

PURSUANT to the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue hereby gives notice as follows:

  1. A return of land held as at noon on 31 March 1968 is required from every person and company, whether a taxpayer or not, being the owner of land in New Zealand within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act 1954, where total unimproved value exceeds $12,000.

  2. Returns are required to be delivered or forwarded to the district office of the Inland Revenue Department, where the taxpayer’s records are filed, not later than 7 May 1968.

  3. Return forms are available at all district offices of the Inland Revenue Department, and at all permanent post offices.

  4. Any person or company failing to furnish a return within the prescribed time is liable to a fine not exceeding $200 or not less than $4.
