north-easterly along that boundary to the south-western
boundary of Section 6, Square 34; thence north-westerly and
south-westerly along the south-western and south-eastern
boundaries of the said Section 6 to the southern side of No.
63 State Highway (Renwick-Kawatiri); thence easterly along
the southern side of that highway to its intersection with a
right line between Trig. Top 2 in Block XI, Motupiko Survey
District and Barefell Pass in Block III, Severn Survey Dis-
trict; thence south-easterly along that right line to its inter-
section in Block XIII, Molesworth Survey District, with the
generally northern boundary of Run 226; thence generally
north-westerly, south-westerly, and southerly along the north-
eastern, north-western, and western boundaries of the said
Run 226 to a point bearing 100° True, distant approximately
one mile, from Trig. Station BW in Block IV, Wairau Survey
District; thence generally south-westerly along the south-
eastern watershed of the Wairau River through Trig. Station
F, to Mount Tarndale in Block XVI, Rainbow Survey Dis-
trict; thence generally westerly along the southern watershed
of the said Wairau River, through Mount Balaclava and
Island Pass, to Mount Maling, the point of commencement.
Area, 169,100 acres, more or less.
THIRD SCHEDULE
ALL that area of land in the Marlborough Land District
bounded by a line commencing at Trig. Station Murphy in
Block XXI, Molesworth Survey District, on the watershed
between the Acheron and Awatere Rivers, and proceeding
southerly and south-westerly along the said watershed, passing
through Saxton Pass and Wards Pass to the intersection, in
Block IV, Barefell Survey District, with a right line joining
Barefell Pass in the said Block IV, and Trig. Station Top 2
in Block III, Raglan Survey District; thence north-westerly
along the said right line to its intersection with the northern
boundary of Run 226 (Molesworth) in Block XIII, Moles-
worth Survey District; thence generally north-easterly along
the north-western boundaries of Run 226 and 220, and gener-
ally easterly and southerly along the northern and eastern
boundaries of the said Run 220 to the summit of the water-
shed between the Acheron and Awatere Rivers; thence
southerly and south-westerly along the said watershed,
through Shingle Peak to Murphy, the point of commence-
ment. Area, 66,490 acres, more or less.

Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 26th day of

THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby sets
apart the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule
hereto as a Maori Reservation for the purpose of a mutton-
birding ground for the common use of the members of the
Maori people generally.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that piece of land situated in Block XIII, Whakarara
Survey District, and described as follows:

The Old Kaitangata Cemetery Clearance Order 1968

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 26th day of
February 1968
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 45 of the Burial and Cremation Act
1964, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby
makes the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Old Kaitangata
Cemetery Clearance Order 1968.
(2) This order shall come into force on the day after the
date of its publication in the Gazette.

It is hereby directed that notwithstanding anything in
section 41 or section 42 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964,
no further burials shall take place in the Old Kaitangata
Cemetery, which was closed by an Order in Council dated
the 3rd day of July 1899* and which is described in the
Schedule to that Order in Council. -
The Kaitangata Borough Council is hereby authorised to
remove all monuments and tablets erected in that cemetery.

The Kawerau College Board of Governors Order 1968

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 26th day of
February 1968
Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 50 and 51 of the Education Act 1964,
His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the
advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes
the following order.
ORDER
- (1) This order may be cited as the Kawerau College
Board of Governors Order 1968.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of
June 1968.
- The Kawerau College Board of Governors shall be
constituted as follows:
(a) One member appointed by the South Auckland Edu-
cation Board;
(b) Six members elected by the parents of the pupils
attending the school;
(c) One member appointed by the Kawerau Borough
Council;
(d) One member elected by the members of the school
committees of the Kawerau Central State Primary
School, the Kawerau North State Primary School,
and the Kawerau South State Primary School;
(e) One member co-opted by the Board of Governors itself,
if and when it thinks fit.

The Minister of Education may from time to time, by
notice in the Gazette, amend the list of schools to which
paragraph (d) of clause 2 of this order applies. -
The Kawerau College Board of Governors Order 1964*
is hereby revoked.

Redefining Limits of Harbour of Gisborne

At the Government Buildings at Wellington this 26th day of

Present:
THE RIGHT HON. KEITH HOLYOAKE, C.H., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the
Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council, hereby redefines the limits of the
Harbour of Gisborne to be all that area of tidal water inside
a right line drawn from the easternmost point of Young
Nick’s Head to Tuahine Point, and to seaward of:
(1) A right line drawn across the Waipaoa River from the
southernmost point of the eastern shore in a 235°
true direction to the opposite shore.
(2) A right line drawn across the Waikanae Creek along
the extended centreline of Lowe Street.
(3) A right line drawn across the Taruheru River along
the line of the western side of Lytton Road Bridge.
(4) A right line drawn across the Waimata River along
the line of the north-eastern side of the William
Pettie Bridge.
