Land Taken for Street Purposes in the City of Auckland

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928 and section 35 of the Finance Act (No. 2) 1945, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland, as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of March 1968.

SCHEDULE

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block XVI, Waitemata Survey District, City of Auckland, North Auckland R.D., described as follows:

A. R. P. Being
0 0 2.2 Part Lot 72, Deeds Plan 434, being part Allotment 6, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured blue on plan.
0 0 1.3 Part Lot 73, Deeds Plan 434, being part Allotment 6, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured yellow on plan.
0 0 1.4 Part Lot 74, Deeds Plan 434, being part Allotment 6, Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured sepia on plan.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked M.O.W. 21878 (S.O. 45523) deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and that the said parcels of land shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of March 1968.

SOUTHLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Invercargill Hundred, described as follows:

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown Land subject to the Land Act 1948.

Leasehold Estate in Land and an Easement over Land Taken for the Purposes of Parking Places in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto held from the Otago Presbyterian Church Board of Property by Elderlee Investments Ltd., a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Dunedin, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease No. 11203, recorded in certificate of title, Volume 308, folio 88, Otago Land Registry, and an easement over land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, created by the said memorandum of lease, are hereby taken for the purposes of parking places and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Dunedin as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th day of March 1968.

ALL those pieces of land situated in Town of Dunedin, Otago R.D., described as follows:

Declaring Land in the Gisborne Land District, Vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as a Site for a Public School, to be Vested in Her Majesty the Queen

ARTHUR PORRITT, Governor-General

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to subsection (6) of section 5 of the Education Lands Act 1949, I, Sir Arthur Espie Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand, hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area vested in the Hawke’s Bay Education Board as a site for a public school, shall be vested in Her Majesty the Queen, freed and discharged from every educational trust affecting the same, but subject to all leases, encumbrances, liens, or easements affecting the same at the date hereof. This Proclamation is in substitution for a Proclamation dated 22 December 1967, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 11 January 1968, at page 1, and that Proclamation is hereby accordingly revoked.

SCHEDULE

GISBORNE LAND DISTRICT—COOK COUNTY

PART Section 2, Block IV, Hangaroa Survey District: Area 3 acres, more or less. As shown on the plan marked L. and S. 26/15818b deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red (S.O. Plan 4055).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this 18th day of March 1968.
