thence along a right line to the summit of Mount Egmont
being the point of commencement, excluding the Borough
of Stratford as described in the New Zealand Gazette, 1898,
page 1192, as the said area is more particularly shown on
plan marked N.Z.E.D. 754 deposited in the office of the New
Zealand Electricity Department at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE
ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District comprising
portion of the Taranaki County bounded by a line com-
mencing at a point on the left bank of the Manganui River
at the southern boundary of Section 2, Manganui Town Belt,
situated in Block IX, Waitara Survey District, and proceeding
westerly along the southern boundary of that section to its
western boundary; thence northerly along that boundary and
its production to the northern side of Te Arei Road; thence
westerly generally along the northern side of that road to
the eastern boundary of Part Okawa C2 Block; thence
northerly generally along the eastern boundary of that block
to the south-eastern boundary of Okawa C 1B Block; thence
north-easterly along that boundary to the left bank of the
Waitara River; thence easterly and southerly generally along
the left bank of that river to the confluence with the
Manganui River; thence generally south-westerly along the
left bank of that river to the point of commencement.

Also all that area in the Taranaki Land District comprising
the Borough of Stratford as described in the New Zealand
Gazette
, 1898, page 1192, as the said areas are more particu-
larly shown on the above mentioned plan.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-
General, and issued under the Seal of New Zealand, this
24th day of February 1968.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act 1928, I, Sir Arthur Espie
Porritt, Baronet, the Governor-General of New Zealand,
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for road; and I also declare
that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 11th
day of March 1968.

SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL those pieces of land situated in Block I, Pakaumanu
Survey District, described as follows:
